My friends,
I have decided to remark on the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics. I am watching as I comment.
The initial Drum introduction was impressive, overpowering and a very clear image of the intentions of the Chinese government. I felt the energy of fire and earth, certainly an oppressive energy.
Sweet sentiments as the children handed over the Chinese flag to the Military!
And now the Anthem!\\ no comments.
The history section was certainly creative and beautiful. Initial Art forms were older than 1000 year old as announced by the NBC announcers. The technology is extremely impressive with such large LED screens to dance on and create the caligraphy. The origin of the Chinese ideographs go back to some 3 thousand years or more. I excuse the news announcers for ignorance of history. Not unusual considering that they cannot even get current events correct! LOL
The Scroll section was also very impressive, relating to the evolution of printing in China, starting with Confucious' scrolls. As opposed to the fire and earth above mentioned, this section focuses on wind and water, as the leaders are able to gently roll over their subjects. Harmony is the focus! Hmmm! The Great Wall is the next symbol, replaced with cornflowers to symbolize openess. ( with as I have mentioned in another blog, police eyes everywhere!)
Dynasty history = contrast of the one and the many... oppression of the masses! Again a display of maritime domination. Special effects are marvelous with the projection of ocean waves on the roof!. The choriography of this section is without error. They have produced a magnificent production. The costumes are wonderful during the following section with the women in ancient dress and jestures. I don't know for sure what this section was celebrating other than an earlier "golden age of elegance and epicurianism".
The modern history '78- piano section- a lovely presentation lights and irridesence. Ah, symbolism of torsion wave energy spirals, surely not intended. Kites and the representation of this "birdsnest stadium". Final appearance forms a globe that seems to represent the Conscious Unit which is the Earth, all her levels of energy and the luminous plasma which is the core. Hmmm! Do the Chinese scientist share the quantum energy knowledge that our western scientist refuse to acknowledge?
Moving the Chi- lets us watch this closely. Again images of air and water, with hints of psychic energy of the use of the Chi. Images of movements of aetheric energy. The Tai chi demonstration is powerful. Wow, watch the layers of energy in this section, certainly reflecting the aetheric energy being shared with these 2 thousand participants. I'm impressed! Is this image of global peace and joy real, it seems that the Chinese are hoping so, with the projections of the homecoming birds on the roof. So far this is the most positive presentation so far.
THe globe thing is unusual. Must be using velcor shoes. LOL An American singer to enhance the visual effects is interesting. very soothing and comforting sound effects. Ah, I just saw cables to suspend the people running around the globe. Ok. Haha very effective. Good effect for the concept of Globalization, heh? Images of children of all different race. "One world, One Dream" the theme. Do I perceive NWO here?
The parade of nations now happening. Nothing to comment on with this except the order is based on the number of strokes in the name of the country. Different!. Hmmm! 408 nations parading.
I am still waiting for this parade to finish. As always it takes more time than the show itself. I was going to wait and see the lighting of the flame, but it is already well past my bedtime, so I am going to close and go to bed. Yaaaawn!
