Are you talking about the "Unseen Ones" as mentioned in Marshall Vian Summers' Allies of Humanity literature?
I don't know. I started to read that and it sounded like they could very well be the same. To me it seems like the Unseen Ones are any of those of our spiritual community who remain behind the scenes because they cannot interfere openly with the divine directive of our free will. I guess there could very well be harmful Unseen Ones as well as those with good intent. I was referring to those of higher awareness such as the Ascended Masters and Cosmic Beings who are here to help.
A of H has been the only place I have seen that term used. It is used to represent those benevolent beings behind the scenes (like you say above) helping as much as they can without breaking the rules of non-intervention, free will and "law of confusion" (Law of One reference). The term Marshall uses for the not so friend-lies is "visitors".
Your use of the term just piqued my rhetorical curiosity...
