These are some of the 1st images of someone moving into light body that I know of other than the photographs of the Karmapa becoming recognizable but transparent at the Black Hat Ceremony in LA in the late 70s. I first learned of this guy Kan from Lama Dorje who introduced Kunlun Nei Gung to the west. Kan was a Japanese rugby player who was paralyzed after an accident in a game. He was told he'd never walk again. While in the hospital, an old fellow came to see him and told him that if he'd hold his arms out, as if he were squeezing a large beach ball against his chest, that he'd walk out of the hospital in a year. (This is a traditional chi gung posture)
Having little else to do, Kan practiced and did indeed walk out of the hospital within a year. Needless to say, he pursued chi gung and other internal energy practices. At one point he was considered a master. Then he met Max (Lama Dorje). Max asked Kan to try to attack him. As Kan approached, Max move his chi and Kan collapsed onto his back. (I have seen pictures of this encounter online.) Kan studied with Max an became his preeminent student and the first person Max authorized to teach Kunlun.
There is a story that Kan turned into light and disappeared while in a Starbucks in Japan. There are pictures of him emitting light after a 30 day dark retreat. And now there are these images from a retreat he did at Trout Lake, Washington with James Gilliland.
Enjoy!
I must admit, John, in this age of digitally-doctored photography, it is difficult to discern what I am actually seeing. To me, it could be anything, but the idea behind it is interesting, nonetheless.
On another subject, I would like to address the person who has given the last four of Lightwin's posts a one star rating:
If you have an issue with the subject matter that someone has taken time to offer here, please have the decency to post your comment rather than hiding behind an anonymous star. Such behavior serves no one.
(I have added my vote to each of the one star ratings with the intention of leveling the playing field, so that people can read Lightwin's posts without bias.)
Blessings to all,
Noa
Hi Noa,
Decency, hiding?......thats a bit rude!....What is indecent?...I am entitled to a vote and I did, I did not chose or try to conceal myself...I'm not hiding....the button has no options for that...I haven't logged on through alias names and put a whole heap of votes...I'm not trying to manipulate anything.........I put what I felt it was worth...I have "dishonored" nothing....but you have!...you openly admit to putting a vote that did not reflect "your" beliefs of the post in order to censor, manipulate and disempower my vote.....this is not freedom in action Noa........sounds alot like the actions of one of the bad guys you love so much.......
We learnt along time ago in here that people have the right to express themselves without any need to then have to justify, explain, prove, substantiate or anything else what that had chosen to express or share if they didn't want to...it was hard to accept at first but it can be no other way.....there is the grey area if someone was to become ?...nasty or something like it but to "force" or "demand" anything from anyone shows a lack of accpetance for them and an imbalance or issue within yourself ........if you have an issue you are entilled to voice yourself but you do not have the right here to insult anyone, in any way........if you believe the voting system needs to be adjusted speak to Fred and Andrey or raise a post on the "issue".......if you have issue, deal with it...
When we find an issue we are always better to act proactively rather than reactively.....
If you want to do something, change something, go for it...do what ever you want.......

For the record, I voted according to my beliefs and I definitely don't love "bad guys" as opposed to "good" ones, if that is the implication. However, if I am to accept that we are all one, than I am compelled to love everyone as a part of All That Is. And the adage, "love thy neighbor as thyself" includes everyone, bad, good, or indifferent.
You do have the right to express yourself here, Jez, and if you prefer giving a miserly star to thoughtful feedback, then so be it.
Personally, I found the anonymous one star rating repeated in all four of Lightwin's recent posts to be rude. If I misjudged the sentiment as other than that which was intended, then I apologize.
Love,
Noa
