I'm going to a meeting on Wednesday about fracking as it is about to start right across from my house. I'm obviously very concerned about my well water supply and ultimately my house value going into the crapper as I've seen happen to so many other communities. If you have any good articles about the bad affects of fracking, could you link them here? I have found some and I know I've read many more but cannot seem to find them now. I want to go loaded to this meeting. I know in the end none of this matters, but right now for me it matters.
I just returned from attending the Women's Wellness Conference in Costa Mesa, CA with my wife - three days of speakers with David Wolfe as MC. I must say that I was blown away. Not so much by the speakers, though they were great, but by the overall vibe of the event and the women attending. My wife ended up volunteering to save a little money and had no idea what she was in for. All the volunteers were made to check in to the conference early and briefed. Later when I came down from our room to listen to David Wolfe's first lecture I began to hear music as I approached the auditorium.

Judy Rudd an amateur genealogy researcher in southern Queensland’s, was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that Prime Minister Kevin Rudd great-great uncle, Remus Rudd, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Melbourne in 1889. Both Judy and Kevin Rudd share this common ancestor.
