Just a quick bit of background.
I am an Aura-Soma Colour Therapy Practitioner. It is an amazing modality and was conceived in England. The headquarters are at a place called Tetford in Lincolnshire. I was very excited when the World Conference for Practitioners and Teachers was planned for South Africa in September/October 2006. This made it possible for me to attend and I was really looking forward to this experience.
It was to be held around and about Timbavati which is at the bottom edge of the Kruger National Park and is the birthplace of the White Star Lions. They were discovered in 1976 and were immediately captured and taken for breeding in Zoos, etc and, of course, to be used in Canned Lion hunting, where the animals are drugged and shot through a fence or the bars of a cage. It is absolutely barbaric. Overseas tourist are charged as much as R1 000 000 for the pleasure to do this and take a trophy home.
There is an amazing lady called Linda Tucker who is the guardian of the White Lions and her dream is to re-introduce them into their birth area of Timbavati. She has made great strides in this and has managed to halt the canned hunting. She is an amazing, regal lady and it was an absolute pleasure to meet her. I will gladly tell you the story of the White Lions whom I was privileged to meet. They have blue eyes which look into your soul . . .
There is a Meridian line which runs from the Great Pyramids of Egypt, through the Zimbabwe Ruins, Timbavati and down to Durban, on the coast of South Africa. This is called the Golden Meridian or Tau line. When you look at a map showing all the landmasses of the world, this line is the exact centre of these landmasses. This line has been broken because of wars, etc. and one of the aims of our Conference was to hold meditations and do energy work along this line to re-energise it.
The gathering took the form of a six-day sacred journey and then we could continue to do a four day workshop. Mike Booth is the head of Aura-Soma and is an incredible man. He communes with the gnome kingdom and can see energy fields, auras, etc. What I really like about him is that there is no "guru-ness" about him. He does not go around ladling out advice or telling anyone what they should do or how they should act. He helps when asked, but often just smiles and lets you draw your own conclusions. He passes on information and what you do with it is your choice.
In the mornings we were asked to meet at the bus at a certain time and the bus would drive us off to some strange location in the middle of nowhere, usually. Mike would get off the bus and start walking off into the distance. You must realise that we are in the middle of wild country, populated by wild animals and snakes, etc. and we would blithely go strolling along. I must say, that the thought of where we were and what we were doing only entererd my mind some time later when I was back home and relived and wrote about my experiences. There was never any feeling of danger or threat at all.
On one day we drove to a place called Kaapse Hoop. The place was one of the scenes of fighting during the Anglo-Boer war and there was some gold digging going on at some time. When the soldiers and the miners left, they did not take all their horses with them and there are now a few herds of wild horses living in the area. I had the opportunity to Reiki one of the stallions . . .
Mike took us to the top of a hill (there were about 60 people from all over the world) which was studded with outcroppings of granite. The top of the hill was just stone and on the far side there was a very sheer drop down. The walk up was not too strenuous, but for some reason or other, one of the other ladies, Simone, and I had decided that we were not going to do this climb and had opted to stay behind. Simone is an ex-South African who is married and lives in London and runs and Aura-Soma shop there. She knows Mike and his family very well. Mike insisted that we join the rest of the group, so with much grumbling we trailed along in the rear. We both had very swollen ankles and feet and it was not a pleasure to walk. When we reached the top, everyone had already climbed up the rocks to the very top and were ready to start the energy work. Simone and I climbed up and I took one look and nearly felt sick. I do not like heights, but this was more than that. I felt like I was going to fall down this very steep drop and there was absolutely no way I was going to stand at the top. Simone felt the same and we climbed down the rocks and stood just below where everyone else had gathered. We could partially hear what Mike was saying and we just waited patiently for everyone to come down again. At least our energy joined with them.
The atmosphere was oppressive and eerie. I found a stone formation which looked like a giant chair (I sat in it), there were stones which looked like turtles with their necks stretched out and their jaws gaping and we could see other reptile forms. Once the meditation was over, we could actually feel a lightening of the atmosphere, but I just could not get off that mountain quickly enough. One of the other South African girls came shooting down the rocks like the proverbial bat . . . and I was a close second. Simone spoke to Mike and apologised for not climbing onto the last of the rocks. He told her he understood. Apparently in the distant past, human sacrifice had been made from these rocks and people had been flung off the top. She had been one of them. I don't think I was a sacrifice, but I am very sensitive to picking up atmosphere and I was just picking up the vibrations.
The whole six days were an absolute revelation and I was recently told by one of the Aura-Soma teachers who used to work at the headquarters and has now gone back to Australia, that this was the most amazing Conference she had ever been on and that Mike had agreed with her.
I have a picture of Mike on top of those stones which was taken by a South American with a digital camera. She showed it to us on the bus after we had left, so I know that there was no way this picture was doctored. I only recently managed to get a copy of this and I will now attempt to follow Bodhi's instructions and post the picture here.

It worked! Thanks Andrey!!!!!.
Ursula, what a wonderful experience! Although I've neither been to Africa nor experienced the group energy work you're describing, I know the feelings and sensations. Where I live the landscape also has played a sacred part in the past, and the energies are still there. I even know a boulder shaped like a chaise which I call the Chair of Dreams. There is even a certain danger from animals, since we have mountain lions and rattlesnakes. So I can relate even though my experiences are very different. I'm so glad you shared this, and I can't wait to see the picture.
By the way did you check out the spirit photos I posted? Truthfully I don't know what I took photos of, but they're intriguing. I'd be interested in your comments.

Hi Dave,
Yes I did see them and they are really intriguing. I am also not sure what they are, but this is what prompted me to write the above account. I was told that digital cameras pick up energies which we cannot see with the naked eye. We had a birthday party one evening in a boma and we were all dancing around a central fire. Some of the Japanese girls took pictures and they said there were globes of lights dancing above our heads.
I've sent a message to Bodhi and hopefully he can help otherwise I might have to email it to you. It emails fine, just will not copy to put on the Portal.

What a fabulous adventure you went on in 2006 ~ sounds so exciting! I have always wanted to visit Africa. I can't wait to see your photo!
Love & light,
Penny :-)
Ursula, Bodhi posted a set of instructions that I found helpful. The procedure is a little bit cumbersome, but once you figure it out it's not bad. I learned that there's a size limit. If the photo is a large file, you might consider shrinking its size and posting the smaller version.
I agree that digital cameras seem to pick up energies that film cameras do not. I never saw reports of orbs in photos before digitals became popular. Whether they actually represent energies or are simply artifacts of the digital process, I'm really not sure. It does seem that orbs show up more in photos that are emotionally charged. The photos I posted show more of a ball of mist than an orb, which simply dissipated and vanished.
This is actually a fascinating area, at least to me. The entire process of recording an image is different with digital cameras. It may be that we have unwittingly created a tool that will help us understand more of the energies that surround us.

Hi Dave,
I copied down the whole instructions which Bodhi gave us and followed them meticulously. It was not difficult, but the picture would not upload. I received it by email and I have sent it on by email and there has been no problem with it. It is well within the limits of what can be uploaded. I am just such an novice when it comes to all this stuff, but I will learn!
Hi Aquene,
We also did a meditation/energy work in a lady's back garden which included the wild stallion. Apparently there are not enough mares, so the stallions fight. This poor guy had some half-healed hoof prints on his flanks. He stood in the centre of the circle and when we had finished, moved straight towards me. So I said, "Oh, you want some Reiki" and he stood next to me. I did not put my hands on him, but held them about four inches away from him. He stood for a while, and then gradually moved a bit further, and stood again, until I had done his whole side where the sores were. It was quite amazing. When I find out how to get the pictures on to the site, I will post one of him too!

Hi Ursula,
What an empowering experience. What can I say? You and others on the Team have an amazing sensitivity and awareness of the energies that continually surround us here on earth. What a blessing that is. I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, just a couple hours away from beautiful Sedona, which has always been noted as a special power place. The beauty is marvelous with the evergreen trees and bushes standing out against the brilliant red stone formations. That alone would make it special, and the small town nestled there was lovely with many artists and writers present. Then it was invaded (my prejudice) by New Age types and commercialization. Watching this happen may be part of my aversion to psychic or extra-ordinary experiences and communication. I wish I could let down this barrier. Guess I'm like Thomas in the bible, "Lord, I believe. Help thou mine unbelief." Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you succeed in posting the photos.

Hi JoyAnna,
When I did a workshop in England at the Aura-Soma Headquarters (the house is called Dev Aura) our teacher was a lady who lives in Sedona. She brought quite a few books to show us and I saw the beautiful, red rocks and the stunning countryside.
It is always difficult to accept change to a place we love and treasure. I have had a whole housing development go up on the hill behind me. This hill is supposed to be a nature reserve, but with the government we have today, if you grease the right palms, anything is possible, so I can understand your annoyance. Because of a religious upbringing I shut out a great deal and turned off many of my conscious psychic abilities. I am learning again to listen to my intuition and to allow things to come to me without blocking them. It is a fascinating journey!

Wow, I love the photo at the top! The shape and colors of the light flares are amazing, not like anything I've seen before.
Thank you for sharing that with us!

Thanks for your comments. I think this weekend I will take the time to write about Linda and how she came to be the guardian of the White Star Lions. Meeting with them is one of those experiences which is hard to describe. It is just amazing. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos. James Asher - he has produced a number of percussion, drumming, etc. CD's, apparently quite well known, was our photographer of record. I have mailed him, but had no response.
Love and Light to you all

Thought I would revive this one again seeing I have just posted a story on Aura-Soma as this is related and may be of interest to our new members

Yes, there is all kinds of material here already in our archives that is well worth bringing to the top of the heap!
Thank you for reminding us.
