Manifesting Abundance

On the topic of Manifesting...essentially this is a process of applying spiritual laws to specific circumstances. We've had a smattering of good remarks here and there in the various forums on the subject of Manifesting, but no focused discussion. What I have found over the last year or two is that manifesting sometimes happens in dramatic and specific ways. But for me as an application, it is fairly spastic - meaning it happens but I don't have much control. Yet.

Abundance is a paradigm. If we hear abundance and think money, that is OP (old paradigm). Money is neither evil nor obsolete, but it is not the definition of abundance. What we have discovered, my wife and I, is that while we remain poor as mice, our lives are abundant and overflowing in every way that matters. I won't bore you with the list of things I am thankful for unless you want me to. But I think that abundance is one of the paradigms we must fully examine in light of the new reality. It isn't always easy to be thankful, but it is always simple.

Time is money - but time is love, too. Does it follow that love is money? No. It follows that reality is fluid and that time is the measure of many things. Money is like water...a resource that does not come from all taps to our endless frustration. Abundance simply is. It is everywhere, all around us, and there is nothing that prevents us from tapping into it.

You're quite right. Goes without saying - probably too often.

Money can be love just as any other form of abundance - we can create our own reality...

This, I guess, is the hardest part of the New Paradigm for me to grasp. My brain knows all about money. But there's something within that jumps back like it was scorpions. I understand some but not all of this, it's my peculiar issue and flaw. Now that I'm finally at the point in my life when I could probably use money with something approaching wisdom, I have absolutely no idea how to make some. However, I also have noticed that many things around me and within me are changing, and that part of the new reality around me is being manifested by me.

So I'm actually a happy camper. In the first place, my life is absolutely overflowing and abundant with everything EXCEPT money. And second, all the changes I see are good.

Most awesome, Marian! Thank you so much for breathing a blast of fresh, exciting air on the topic of money in this forum. And thank you, too, for bringing in EFT. I have heard wonderful things about it from dozens of people, though I have not had time yet to dive into it. I'm getting closer to doing that and feeling even more inspired by you.

Money is not a major issue for me. I have always known that I am taken care of and always had more than enough money to live a full, rich, exciting life, though I have never been wealthy by traditional standards. I tell people that though I don't have much money, I am one of the richest people in the world, not because of the amount of money I have, but because I honestly believe I have more than enough money. How many do you know who feel they have enough money? Even most rich people are still stuck on the picture of wanting more and feeling they don't have enough.

As the biggest financial supporter of the Transformation Team at this time, I really have no problem putting out tens of thousands of dollars to keep this work going. I am deeply passionate about this great work and fully trust that wonderful people like you will come along to support the work of our most awesome team before my funds are exhausted. Thank you for being part of my dream come true, Marian.

I find that most people's relationship with money changes little throughout their lives unless they make a deep commitment to transforming their old patterns as you did. I could set my intentions to become truly wealthy and fully trust I would use that wealth wisely, but I really feel no need or interest in being wealthy by traditional standards. I already have immense spiritual and emotional wealth and plenty of money.

My core area of lack is time. That is where I really could use some EFT work. Maybe you could help me with this, Marian. If only I had the time to really dive into it  ;o)  Thanks so much for your generosity both financially and in spirit, Marian. I very much look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you for your very interesting article and information on EFT. I have not read the whole article yet, I only found it now but I will do some more investigating. Living In South Africa, it is now nearly past my bedtime, so tomorrow will have to do.

The technique you described is very intriguing and would work with any facet of our lives. I am very interested to look further into it. Thanks for posting this article and bringing it to our attention.  It feels exciting.

If I had such a place I would start a commune. Stefa, you are a blessed spirit. Anyone who knows the flute solo from Glück's Orphée et Eyrudice knows whereof I speak.

I'm fairly new to TT and I've been finding the forums to be very interesting and relevant. As has been pointed out in many postings here, abundance is not limited to the area of money or materialism, and there is a relationship in manifesting various types of abundance.

For most of my life, I lived with a "lack" mentality, of having insufficient money and that this was preventing me from having the things I wanted from life. At some point, without awareness of it, I started applying what I later learned were spritual laws of abundance. By believing that I deserved to have my monetary needs met, they were, even though I actually had less money than before. Of course, if I had money, the things that money buys would be of higher quality, but I no longer feel deprived of material things that I need, as the things that I've really needed has been provided one way or another. People often ask me how I live on the income that I have and I realized that if I tried to answer that question, I'd realize that it's logically not possible and I wouldn't be able to continue doing it.

But this has not been true of non-material things and I have not been successful in appying the same principles to bring abundance in health, relationships with people, or finding time to do all the things I'd lilke to. The idea of EFT never apealed to me before, but it does seem worth investigating as I think I've fallen into a trap of hopelessness, especially concerning bringing people into my life, and the EFT techniques may be able to break through the limitations this hopelessness has caused.

Steve, I think you've brought an important truth to light. I've actually been pretty prosperous a couple of times, with a nice house, big yard, all the good stuff, and really didn't appreciate the abundance I had. In later years I've had to learn to do on very limited means - so much so that it sometimes amazes me that we pull it off at all. And yet, I find that my life is more abundant that it has ever been - in health, relationships, creativity, energy, and yes, material things too. We live on less money than either of us has ever had to...and yet we're surrounded by real art, antiques, beautiful objects, living plants, loving pets....I could go on and on.

I fully realize that at some point, maybe even before arriving on earth, I must have made some crucial choices about money. I can't think of any other reason why I have so little. I have an actual fear of money, I think. So I've learned to live, rather successfully, without it. Or without much of it. I'd love to turn that around, now that I'm getting old...but I find I have no idea how. Even so, I find that my consciousness of abundance, and the gratitude I feel for it, has increased over and over with every passing year. As for enough money to retire on, maybe it'll come from my writings or my paintings...or not at all. I'd be lying if I said i was unconcerned. But I'm also, today, a very very happy soul.

I first came across EFT nearly two years ago and have been working with it off and on since that time.  I have found it to be tremendously helpful, though I have not been able to make the kind of breakthrough in personal development and abundance issues I hope for.  I will be attending a workshop this coming weekend and am hoping that something will come out of that experience to propel me forward.  Gary Craig will be there and I look forward to seeing him work.

I am relatively new to TT, but I am familiar with EFT and have been working with it for more than a year now on my own.  I would be tremendously interested in exploring the possibility of working with a coach on the subject of abundance.  I've certainly made some progress on my own, but I seem to be rather stuck at the moment!  Also, as I mentioned in another post, I will be attending a workshop with Gary Craig this weekend which I am really looking forward to as I may be able to improve my knowledge and results significantly in a relatively short period of time.  Thanks for your offer and I look forward to hearing from you!
