I really don't know what to think about all of this, but I really love that technique you mention at the end of your initial post!

I wasn't even going to post anything, and then I am reading some of Svali's articles concerning the Illuminati, the NWO, how they are structured, and then came to the part about the UN. Below is a few passages (and specifically one line) that made me want to post it here, as it raises a perfectly valid question similar to the question your forum post infers...

"The Illuminati and governmental leaders chose to create the UN early in the past century, and worked hard and against opposition to put it in place (FDR was their man in America who helped the American public accept it). Svali (her cover fake name for safety's sake), according to David Wilcock and many others, remains to date the most credible whistleblower to ever come out of the Illuminati structure/worldwideweb. She says (as above) it is all but impossible or completely impossible "to win a presidential election in our country today without their backing".

If she is correct about this then Barack Obama, bless his heart, has already done some business with and been approved by this worldwide hierarchy that is still attempting to bring all nations under one ruling class government sometime around 2020.

I'm sorry, but I can't be impressed by an article that demonizes superior human communication methods by naming them and calling them "tricks."

All great speakers have used gesture, rythme and a host of other features of expression to make their mark on their audiences. And it makes a great deal of sense for our sciences to parse these elements and name them. But they're not new, and they are not reserved for therapists. Humans are both logical and emotional. We still have a lot to learn about both of these aspects of being human. But neither logic nor appeals to the emotions should be considered bad or good.

What is important is what speechmakers intend to do with the influence over others that their gift of speech provides for them.

We should make decisions on the importance of a speech by analysis of its intent: Is the speaker inspiring cooperation or discord... tolerance or hatred... learning or ignorance...

In judging a speaker we should be asking ourselves some questions such as: Is the speech and the speaker a good guide for a broad group of people or just MY people? Is the person inviting the audience to compete or cooperate with each other, or compete or cooperate with other communities?

I am going to post this excerpt from one of David Wilcock's blogs from back in June. It is somewhat dated but provideds some important information regarding Barak Obama.  Sorry for the length of this but it is all important.

Thank you Elizabeth and John for continuing to emphasize that which we can count on now and one million years from now during these times when we are sorely tempted to be distracted by tactics mentioned by Linda. I so understand your concern Linda, but we just have to stay very steady in our understanding that winds will blow, and even knock us down at times, but they are always temporary and the experience of feeling knocked down is very much an illusion every time without exception, and the calm stillness is all that remains after all the temporal distractions run their course and their unassailable universal right to do so.

For us to willfully choose to be distracted by any of that noise is how they really win temporarily (which is always another experiential illusion and grist for the learning mill), for our universal right to remain in eternal peace, in spite of any seemingly apparent alleged illlusion of danger is simply that, our universally-recognized right/heritage when our common and unassailable station in Universal Unity/Creator, Love/Light and Harmonious Stillness is truly accepted and willfully recognize and honored, properly considered, and meditated upon to get that knowledge back deep into the root of mind/spirit/body/soul complex, continually re-membered and practiced every waking moment and with Divine purpose during any such temporal storm that may come, and they will - and so what. Why else does the Buddha wear an eternal smile???

Another thing that struck me as we are choosing once again to discuss possible dangers to warn people about is the seemingly utter futility of warnings in the first place. Sometimes we are correct and few listen, and sometimes we are wrong and we tend to lose credibility. Trying to manage all of these ongoing temporary distractions is, Cosmically, an unsolicited response-ability and/or duty much of the time, but behaving like Peace and Love is all there really is is our Eternal Heritage and constant privilege and unassailable right/duty/honor, and every moment we are distracted from that knowledge is, almost always, a complete waste of our time. Finally understanding this truth will be how we as human family on earth, collectively and ultimately, win this game in the field of positive and negative polarity catalyst.

Until then we shall continue to repeat history in 3rd density illusion, not because the alleged "they" are strong or winning, but because the collective "we" are still willfully choosing to buy in to the same old tired lies. A catalyst is neither strong nor weak - it simply is what it is, like the temptation to believe something unreal while on acid (as a radical and demonstrative example).

We shall escape the gravitational pull of lies and temptation when we see through it all and smile with the unmoved and unattached Buddha and follow our ascended friends and allies through the door labeled "nothing-ness". Can you just see the warm Light/Love of ahhhh and relief hitting you in the face like goose bump sunshine just for considering it???

It seems so odd in a world of dynamic illusion, but claiming any thing or tactic or whatever to be legitimate or dangerous or powerful is nothing more than a free-will-fully claimed illusion. Even making claim that God or Creator is powerful or great or whatever is, in and of itself, a willfully claimed, accepted and entrenched illusion that will have to be surrendered with the rest of them in the end, for what is real will never require our believe or soapbox pontification or proclamation of faith - it very simply is what it is, regardless of all human symbols and illusion.

I do not know whether or not the power elite control Obama (yet), but Svali's erudite testimony makes it clearly known that it is entirely possible from the knowledgable vantage point of this particular Illuminati whistleblower. I simply no longer care one way or the other! It means absolutely nothing in 10,000 years and I am tired of being distracted by that which is unworthy of my focused intent. I have seen Lucy hold the football for Charlie Brown in politics my whole politically-engaged life and Lucy has pulled the football away from Charlie's kick 99.9% of the time, and we just keep falling for it over and over again, so if Obama has already been approached and warned by a very entrenched NWO old money Rothschild/Illuminati power elite and has been somehow convinced to play ball with the big boys in a way that neutralizes his original altruistic designs for the office of the presidency, then are we really going to be that surprised? Again? I do not say this to be negative, just "is what it is" realistic. Continuing to place our hopes in the latest greatest world leader(s) is a far greater problem than any particular leader's political behavior, one way or the other....

I went ahead and voted for Obama already because I don't much care, nor do I believe in this complete ruse of a sham of a corrupt and despotic political system any more. They told me that it is my duty to vote and be informed and then they lie, cheat and steal to prove to me that my vote really doesn't matter! Kerry still cares enough (somewhat futile in my opinion) for the both of us, so I give her my vote instead of making some futile point with the mark of a pen in a system that must fall before we can get to where we need to be for real change that will work.

Everything you said about Obama is very much status quo true and the dems are being sold a custom-made inspirational message for change because that is what will work for them in this political season. So while so many dems look across the aisle and wonder how those other idiots could be so easily duped into believing in and following people like John McCain and Sarah Palin (and I include myself again in that demographic of dems and independents looking across the aisle in disdain and disgust) we would do well to see how we are being duped too, in very much the same way that the so called "they" are! You know, "them", those not quite the same as us (or are they???)

The same thing is happening to both camps from both sides of the political persuasion of the same damn coin perpetually spinning in the air for our amusement and dedicated distraction while both parties are so fundamentally in bed together and have always been!!! We are comfortable with the way "the man behind the curtain" sells us/feeds us our custom designed lies and those others we are so sure we disagree with are very very comfortable with the way they are being fed their particular brand of lies and BS.

I adored Bill and Hillary, and now, after much extensive and well-documented research, I fully understand, no matter how wonderful some part of them may be (or I want to believe them to be), that they are both very prosecutable white collar criminals/war criminals/money launderers for the CIA's drug running to fund black ops, etc.. the list goes on and on in a world of political/geopolitical immunity for the Illuminati-orchestrated very well organized NWO machine that now makes up 1% to 2% of the world's population and has completely infiltrated every status quo branch of social, educational, political, monetary and military power and influence. They are extremely patient people, willing to have agendas that stretch out 200 years or more. This stuff is so very natural to them and then we look at how comfortable they appear to be in their own skin and we think on how guilty we would feel to be so utterly immoral, and we surrender all conspiratorial notions that any of this could really be true about those people that appear so darn inspirational and wonderful and loving (and whatever will sell you their agenda), and then we go back to sleep, back to our myopic existence in consumerland. I am not totally giving up on the idea that Obama may be different, but I am very very prepared to be completely unmoved by the possible coming revelation that Barack Obama is just one more very handsome and very brilliant cooperative pawn for the machine that brought us all of the others. Obama was talking again last night about how to proceed in Afghanistan and how to approach the opium production to lessen production, and he is very well informed for the most part, but when it comes to his take on the Opium production, he is either extremely naive (which I find extremely hard to swallow) or he is already feeding the general public a line of BullCrap that has absolutely nothing to do with addressing the CIA's well-entrenched and ongoing relationship with the Opium trade in Afghanistan.

Like Lesley said so very well, if you listen to what Obama is saying, you will find a common thread and theme that is very much the fundamental status quo. If David Wilcock is right (and I really hope he is) than Obama is playing possum and is attempting to tame the machine code named "shrew"(LOL), but if all goes like it has 99.9999999% of the time, don't expect Obama to be the white knight in shining armour. They sell us romantic novels in the checkout line at the store to train us to "check out" again when we so easily accept/adopt romantic notions during political seasons like this one.

A few thoughts about Obama:

He may or may not be in the service of the NWO elite.  We can't know at this point.  But we do know that you can't get elected in this country if you say or do things too far afield of the generally acception illusion about the way things are.  And a candidate can't do anything unless he/she is elected.  The idealists and uncompromising truth-tellers stay in the background -- a sad comment on the level of the general consciousness.

To take a good example, Cyntia McKinney, Green Party candidate for president, although she speaks the truth (in my opinion) on every issue, can't possibly get elected because of that very fact.  (Here she is in a refreshing short campaign video.)  The purpose she serves is an important one, though: saying what the major candidates can't express without getting cut to pieces -- rightfully, in the eyes of the average citizen (who is the great majority).  Ron Paul has served the same purpose; his specialties have been to call for the end of the fraudulent and criminal Federal Reserve and their fiat monetary gimmick, and to speak up for restoring the Constitution.  McKinney is the only candidate who has publicly (in the past, but isn't making it a campaign issue) called into question the official story of 9/11.  As congresswoman from Georgia, she held hearings -- that only one other member of congress attended (for just a few minutes before skedaddeling).

So, Obama has to be "moderate" and therefore appears compromising.  Does this express his heart and soul?  Who knows?  He may turn out to be just another NWO puppet.  Or he may turn out to be one of the Rainbow Warriors -- or Shambhala Warriors -- who is in touch with his true being and the true needs of the planet.  No guarantees.  Time will reveal him.

The one fact that gives me a measure of calm and hope is the (I hope accurate) perception that this man has a measure of character that neither of the Bushes nor the Clintons come close to having.  He may even have as much as Ron Paul and Cynthia McKinney (who I see in some improbable, imaginary realm as running mates in a presidential election and whom I would vote for in a heartbeat).  But that being only a fantasy, my vote will go to Obama.  If he wins, no, he won't be a messiah.  That's our collective role: self-salvation.   But maybe he'll throw a key lever or two, or unlock a few doors for us.  And if McCain wins, the NWO will be exposed for what it is all the sooner for all to see in a grotesque puppet show.  Either way, I don't think we can lose --ultimately.

I was quite intrigued by the video of the man using NLP to get a stranger to turn over his wallet and watch at http://portal.transformationteam.net/videos/4558. Yet when I went to read the article on Obama's alleged manipulations listed at the top of this page, I have to say I founded very little of substance.

I am a trained hypnotherapist and understand hypnotic techniques, but that article is really stretching it. Almost all politicians - and all good speakers for that matter - use some of the techniques described there. "This is the moment" and "now is the time" are used by many good speakers to inspire people to action. Is that manipulation? Is it manipulation to say "I stand here now..." I don't think so.

If you read the article with Martin Luther King, Jr. in mind, you will find he did similar things. I'm amazed that someone actually wrote 60 pages of "proof" of Obama's secret manipulations that to me has so little merit. I think we have to be careful about looking for conspiracies everywhere. You often find what you are looking for.

I am very excited about Obama, not because I think he will bring real political change or expose any of the deep manipulations we know about. He clearly has bowed to the war machine and compromised his own values to get to where he has.

I am excited because of what Obama means to the average African-American. Black people in the U.S. have had to deal with tremendous prejudice their whole lives. White people have no idea how subtle and deep that prejudice can go and how often it happens. If you don't believe me, find a black person and ask them how often they experience prejudice and what it is like. I have asked many times.

This kind of prejudice leads many blacks to have low self-esteem from a very young age. The fact that Obama made it to where he did is a huge healing for this self-esteem. I am thrilled that my black sisters and brothers have finally been given a visible voice and inspiration, and that their children, like white children, can now dream of being the president some day.

And yes, Fred, Obama has apparently bowed to the war machine.  Again, the question is, Is that what he really believes, or is he saying what he has to say to get elected?  (Either way it's disturbing to hear.)  I was under the impression that a majority of people don't want war with Iran (let alone an escalation of war with Afghanistan); if so, why would he take a hawkish posture?  Evidently his political calculations came up with the need for it.  Does anyone have any thoughts about this?

Someone fairly astute (I forget who) said that in a democracy a
successful politician must do two things: say what the people want to
hear and do what the powerful want done.  Given the popular illusions, this is probably true.  Even if it isn't, clean hands are probably impossible in politics.

I agree that the Obama-as-hypnotist argument is a bit much.  You could as well agrue that smiling at someone when you talk to them is deeply manipulative.  If so, we manipulate everyone -- even the ones we love the most -- all the time.  We probably should be more careful about how we use terms like "manipulation" and "hypnosis."  The problem may be that we tend to think in categories.  Real life tends to disrespect categories.

I watched the two specials featuring Obama's life on CNN over the weekend. One I had already seen and one new to me. The one thing that stood out the most to me, where I believe this amazing soul who looked ordered and mature in even his baby pics got his adorable awesome-ness, is that he knows deeply how much his mother loved him. When he expresses that stable sense of Love he carries with him, he glows with it in a way that can make you melt.

Barack Obama is an amazing phenomenon and historic figure already, but like BB44 asks in his two posts, is all this for real or is this just one more very well orchestrated geopolitical maneuver as per the very real opportunity presented in one very amazing Barack Obama? We have been here before! What is all of this telling us if we keep coming to these amazing moments of apparent inspiration, only to find that it turns out to be business as usual???

Could this be the recurring message to us that will keep tempting us to put our faith in others when it is we who must finally learn to take response-ability and self activate? One thing I am very sure of is this system that is allowing Obama to play ball does not suffer rebels lightly. It is a system that is so vile and entrenched in the concept of wealth, manufactured scarcity that creates the illusion of value, and the ruling class supported by the enslaved masses that no one person is going to go into the belly of the beast and magically turn it into a solution. The solution will only come after the fall of this particular beast.

I watched Zeitgeist Addendum again over the weekend, the documentary that Lefty Dave featured in a forum a while back. It is the best I have seen for consolidating real history, real motives, real problems and real answers from the Venus Project, and also refers to the One-ness of us all (at the end) without referencing the Law of One - an aspect that affirms exactly what Ra was talking about in the Law of One sessions, the fact that this understanding can come from just about anything or anywhere.

So in a little over two hours one can learn about a monetary system of perpetual debt and enslavement, a refined geopolitical system that works upon the efficient principle of enticement from economic hitmen like John Perkins (who is in the documentary), then CIA jackals who come in to take out the uncooperative leader, and if that does not work, then the military is finally sent in, but only as a last resort. And then the wonderful featuring of the Venus Project!

One could hardly ask for more from an enlightening and educational documentary. The primary reason I bring this amazing documentary up again is because one realizes, upon absorbing the information, that not even this incredibly inspirational man, full of his mother's undying love and devotion and the drive of both his parents, can fix this very broken system - mainly because it is not broken! It is meant to roll over, being a system based on debt from its inception, and is going to ultimately offer its participants approximately 2 cents on the dollar for the exchange into the new monetary system. The dollar has lost 96% of its value since the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913.

This is not a miscalculation of a poorly thought through system designed by good men. This system that Obama means to enter and work to right some wrongs is perfectly designed as per its primary intent - to enslave the masses to a system that favors its creators and gradually transfers wealth right back to them every time. So the real question we should be soberly asking ourselves has very little to do with this man that I, like many of you, adore very very much. His light shines brightly. Half of us are worrying about what his real intentions are and the other half are worried about the physical welfare of him and his beautiful wife and children. All of this is one more distraction from discovering the real ultimate solution, the downfall of a very despotic system based entirely in perpetual debt, and then the instituting of a new resource-based system where you do not have a typical job to earn money, pay rent, or buy things you think you need because money has become a dead and gone concept and the children of the future would look at you like they do not know what you are talking about when you speak of details of a dead monetary system of the past. Almost all crime will naturally come to an end because the main impetus for crime is gone.

As adorable and wonderful and inspirational as Barack is, until he is talking about what the Venus Project is talking about, at least beginning to alude to it, and as long as he is happy to work within the confines of a very vile system that cannot be made to work properly for the many, and as long as he keeps talking about kicking it up a notch in Afghanistan and going after Osama Bin Laden, "the terrorist responsible for 9-11" (does he really believe that???), than he is just one more very duped politician that has inspired many to look away from their own very personal responsibility to make this world a better place themselves and quit waiting for the right politician to come along and fix their broken world.

This is scheduled to go on like this for as long as it takes for us to individually and collectively learn this lesson, for no real transition and ascension can come just because a really wonderful politician comes along that inspires the masses. Even Obama knows this from his amazing community development work in the South side of Chicago. He kept trying to get people to put themselves forward as they continually tried to put him forward. Time will tell if he still maintains that primary principle of community involvement - the constant encouragement to do something about it yourself instead of waiting for the right person to come along and be your savior du jour.

We are way past conspiracy theories now. the real question remains - are we willing to really open our eyes so we can more properly appraise our current situation....
