There is this greater We within me and within every one of us. The greater We is the collective consciousness of all beings, of All That Is.
It's all about me and We learning to dance.
Me and We are equally important in inviting my unwavering desire for what's best for all of us to flow through me.
Whenever I see something disturbing, I can say "There's the part of me that wants to ..." and "There's the part of We that wants to ..."
When a "me" starts standing out above the crowd, the deeper We will likely have a response. The tendency of many collective we's here is to want to either beat down the one who stands out too much, or to put him or her up on a pedestal. Yet it doesn't have to be this way. We can encourage that individual, that unique aspect of We, to shine without inhibition, knowing that ultimately we are all brilliant beyond measure!
The deeper, all-encompassing We very much honors each individual and their choices, even when subgroups within the greater We sometimes don't.
Each of us has within us a collective of energies, stories, personalities, beliefs, and more. Yet a single point of consciousness is somehow given to us to experience, express, and manage all of this. When I am in passive or victim mode, whatever is most pressing among that inner collective can end up dominating my consciousness. I then can easily become reactive and lose my ability to consciously create. For some, managing all the voices is too much, and can even drive them crazy.
Whenever the cacophony of voices becomes confusing or overwhelming, there is a powerful way to come back to center. When I have clearly defined life intentions or am very clear on my life purpose, I can come back to these when my thoughts and feelings are unclear. Clear intentions can slice through the fog like a laser and bring clarity and unexpected miracles into my life.
Many souls have built major energetic dramas (stories) in which they want to engage over time. They have conscious or unconscious agreements with other souls who resonate (or who have a correlating anti-resonance), to help them play out their various dramas in this amazing process.
Many souls seem to be attached to the idea that their version of the drama is unique. They believe they are the only ones who suffer this particular way. And this is beautiful in itself. There is a way this makes them feel special. What's really wrong with that? It's all a part of the exploration of consciousness in this universe.
Ultimately, we're all creating this drama for each other, and we're all learning and growing in our own ways. On the deeper levels, it's all a co-created life expressing through each of us in wonderful unique ways. There's no rush to reach enlightenment or save the world. Every sacred moment is a precious opportunity to be savored, if we choose to let it be. I'm definitely talking to myself here.
Why do some of us "know" our infinitude, while others don't? Why do some have no doubt that we are all infinite, beautiful, divine beings connected within an ever-expanding cosmic dance, while others don't? I know that this understanding exists on some deep level within others, but most have unconsciously chosen to block it off. I want to honor the choice to block it, yet also be a invitation to open up and play big in a conscious way for all who are interested.
I can be a reminder to me, to us, to We. I want to invite those interested to play with me to see how consciously we can live in each moment. How consciously can we manage and make good use of the many voices within and without, rather than letting them manage us?
This can actually be a lot of fun. Choosing to be as conscious as possible in every moment can make the journey gentler and more fun and loving. Conscious action prevents the chaos of conflicting inner voices from taking control of our consciousness and doing battle with each other. If we fully acknowledge the many and sometimes conflicting voices within and are clear on our deeper life intentions, we can make continual conscious choices about how we direct the symphony of our lives.
I'm finding it's more fun, or at least more deeply joyful, to be as conscious as I can about the many things both inside and outside of me as I move through life, and as life moves through me. I welcome any and all parts of myself and the universe to make themselves known and to come play with me as we co-create my/our life experience.
So many challenges of the collective have served as a reminder of my mindfulness discipline on and off the meditation cushion. When I thought about a new years resloution it all seemed to come to this: Love myself.
When I have remained mindful of this intention, legions of defensive armies have surfaced. My authentic self, the one I feel as the witness self, holds ad hoc committee meetings to give the voices their say and if I don't approach my self-reproach with a great sense of humor I will go mad. Where did all these people come from? Now that they have been objectified by hearing their voices I am no longer seeing and feeling through them, only then did I find the wisdom that transcends and includes them all.
Am I now integrated? Probably not, but I do find it more ordinary to be patient and kind to myself. I still experience twinges of resistance and I meet those with lovingkindness so that in the bigger picture I have learned that these smoke and mirrors are teachers and old friends and flat out outrageously funny. And you know, those people that used to really push my buttons have somehow just transformed into the neatest characters. Amazing!
Oh, this year I plan to work on some serious wrinkles from laughing all the day long. Me and the We are such wonderful works in progress.
Thanks again Fred. For the Gathering Spot and this wonderful diddy. Have a blessed year!

"holds ad hoc committee meetings to give the voices their say and if I don't approach my self-reproach with a great sense of humor I will go mad" haaaahahaha, levity and helpful, how economical of you.
"that transcends and includes them all" resonation jackpot!!! ding ding ding
and includes them all...
and includes them all...
and includes them...
and includes...

ahhhhhh
Wonderful advice, I will listen to and honor all my voices and feel conforted that I will come to a decision about what direction to take when the time is right.

Very cool, Tricia. I, too, have found it very rich to give each of the voices within me a full say. I sometimes dialog with the voices or facilitate a dialog between them, often with remarkable results. I am usually able to get them working together through pointing out the deeper intentions that we can all share.
Thanks for the great work you are doing to love yourself, too. That is a most powerful gift to all of us. You take care and have a rich and fulfilling new year and decade ahead.
With lots of love, joy, and laughter,
Fred
Hello everyone,
The everyone that is me, this is very constant topic for me the past few days, each way I turn there is the topic of the multiverse the me's/you's that live there, and the ability to tap into thier talents.
The consistant coincidences are pushing on me like a final consecration of belief, remove yourself from doubt it seems to be saying, immerse yourself in the soup of souls and swim with abandon.
Thank you Fred, not only are you extremely intuitive, you also have an amazing ability to expound on the experience. As do all the respondents to your insights, what a wonderful experience to read all the thoughts we have had..

Greetings brother,
I/we resonate on your words of wisdom.....this has been a trying year for wife and me....both kids (43 AND 34) lost their livlihoods of many years...and are in transition...so to speak....dwindling our retirement account down....depression both mental and financial....down to one gig a week at the local steakhouses' lounge...thou it does make me laugh....when I played my first gigs in 1965 and 66, $100 a week was a TON OF MONEY !!!!
still, I come here and read the thoughtfulness and kindness that my fellow ' wingmakers' and transformation team members give forth and it is always a haven from the maniacy that abounds out there....you folks are great and I/we appreciate you all...
Thanks for your good words, Fred... also read some things you wrote out there on the net, on the latest briefs bomber, another perfectly timed bit of nonsense that will disrupt travelers for years to come, and get the Patriot Act reenacted...as I believe it was set to expire this year....just goes to show...timing is everything !!Still, seeing through this craziness is half the battle....fighting the knee-jerk reaction by government is the other half !! And try to keep a sense of humor and sanity, whew!!
Thanks again for your words of inspiration and keep on keepin on.....
Blessings
Dave
It's always so empowering to visit this forum and I thank you Fred and Chris for your encouraging words. I've come to believe in simplicity and really, when you think about it, someone who truly is kind and patient with themselves - do you think that individual could be mean to another?
This seems so difficult at times until I have these moments of transcending mySelf. These experiences urge me along this journey in all of its twists and turns with a sense of adventure and lots of humor. What an incredible species we are!
I'd really like to meet everyone in the physical someday. What a trip!!!
Namaste,
Tricia
I took a course on lucid dreaming and astral projection a while back, and am planning to re-take it soon. The very first lesson was to practice being 'conscious' in every moment, as Fred said in his original post. By practicing being 'aware' of things, and quieting the voices a bit even when we are focusing on a mundane task, the important thing is to focus on that task, regardless of what it is. "Be" that laser cutting through the fog, and allow the voices their time (perhaps during meditation), but try to keep them at bay when going about your routine.
The logic is that by constantly asking yourself to be aware of your surroundings and actions, you are much better able to 'look around' and become aware of your surroundings when you are in a dream. I've actually had some success with this in the past and I tell you, when you get it working for you going to sleep is pretty exciting! I haven't had one of those dreams in a while, vivid yes but lucid no. Several signs have been pointing me back to those studies though and I think Fred's words are another sign.
