This was so cool and funny!  Can you imagine the look on that interviewer's face?  Initially, he must have thought Mitchell was either teasing him, or gone crazy.  Too funny!  You can almost forget how amazing the actual admission / disclosure is!

and an important subject dealing with why we are here at this moment.  We must be very careful not to ridicule or scoff at those who are slowly awakening from the long soul slumber.  It is very easy to feel a misguided sense of pride or spiritual superiority when dealing with others who have not yet opened their eyes to the greater reality.  This is ego play.  Remembering that we are all ONE will help to override the easy reaction so that instead of the distancing effect of laughter we will bring them closer and gently encourage with kindness, love, understanding and compassion.  We all know this yet at times fall back into the old ego games of the daulity and separation. 

Now that I've played the overbearing nun whacking the yardstick on the desk may I tell you that I love you all and it feels fantastic to say so!

Hi there, Francis.

I have to just say that I was laughing at the exhuberance at which he expressed his disbelief... not so much the disbelief itself.  I thought of this interviewer starting an interview that he probably thought would be pretty boring or tame, and coming upon this incredibly controversial and amazing admission from a top expert in the field.  It reminded me of a youtube video that was posted a few months back in which a camper woke to a full double rainbow.  You could hear the joy and amazement and the disbelief in what he saw right in front of him.  It made you laugh and cry right along with him.  That was where my comment came from... it was the reaction similar to a child in all it's innocence and enthusiasm.

I love you too, my brother!  I'll be working on laughing out loud today - at the silliness which is life.  :)

I heard you loud and clear Kathy, you were so clearly relating to the comedy of the situation.  There's not a mean bone in your gracious "body", so don't you go changin' a thing.  Francis was doing what so many of us have done from time to time, getting up on our soap box to make a point that has little to do with the post we are relating to, and much more to do with a point that comes to mind while reading someone else's post....

I was following a strong urging that had more to do with the area of being helpful and encouraging to our brothers in need and really nothing to do with the intention of your post which was clearly coming from a place of playfulness and joy.  A little out of place I'll be the first to admit and should have done so much earlier to avoid all these unnecessary ripples.  I think I need to wash out my soapbox with soap, wear it like a hat and jump into the river.  Yes, you're beautiful just the way you are, don't change a thing. 

I trust this intelligent group got the jist of what I was trying to say albeit in an inappropriate place.

Chris, I know just what you mean about thoughts coming to mind yet not relating to posts, you should see how many posts I have typed out only to re read and go WTF has that to do with????? then backed out gracefully without posting anything. In fact sometimes it inspires me to start a whole new post.

I don't actually believe man has ever been to the moon and I am still not sure it is possible today with the "known" science we have....

I am sure many here, and from memory there is some of it in the course, are familiar with the theories on the subject so I won't go in to them but it begs the question.....

If this guy hasn't actually been to the moon how credible is he?

I met Mitchel a few weeks ago-for what it's worth. I don't claim to be a mind reader but he seemed an exceptionally decent (and down to earth-haha) person to me. He talked about his moon experiences a little and I couldn't detect any weirdness about it. People I've known in the past who were pathological liars revealed themselves thru many subtle and obvious clues. Would a person working to deceive us all about moon missions start a research institute (IONS) that investigates the deeper realities of life-like why did he have this epiphany of connectedness to all things in space? or is psi a scientific reality? That doesn't sound like a CIA, mind-controlled autobot to me...(I have to say that I don't know how to detect a mind-controlled person though-for all I know he doesn't present as a liar because mind control bypasses that...Also, I'm certainly not a trained psychologist in reading deception cues-I rely on my gut). Another thing about the moon landings-I personally know people who worked on hardware that went on those missions. Max Messner who lived across the street from my family designed and built the cameras that went to the surface and were mounted on the lunar rover vehicle. I knew a family that worked on fabricating the switch panels inside the capsules too. There was a space center owned by RCA near my house growing up and many people worked there on projects. There are hundreds of thousands of folks who fabricated components, electronics, spacesuits etc who you can meet and discuss their roles with.  Launching 363' (110.6 m) tall Saturn Rockets 13 different times is pretty impressive stuff for a charade-no?  And what about that Aussie communications dish crew(in the movie "Dish" with Sam Neil?) who lost their lock on the TV signal from the lander and were forced to locate the lander on the moon by just physically pointing at the exact spot? (I still remember the anxiety of the wait for the TV signal to come thru for the landing-they just barely got it back in time for the first step onto the surface!) Did we land a communications drone vehicle on the surface to simulate their presence?

I think the photos were altered.  There is some pretty decent evidence to support it.  We should be seeing light from some stars in the backround, as well as more lunar landscape.  I believe they were editing out what would have surely revealed to the world that there has been "previous activity" on the moon by "others" not of earthly origin.

I highly doubt Mitchell would have founded IONS based upon a fabrication...  Makes more sense they are hiding something they didn't want us to see, and that makes the pics look a bit unreal, for good reason...  I would imagine the urban legend helps run cover for the intention to deceive the public about what was and is actually taking place on the moon...
