What an incredibly enlightened being! Truth is now reaching the masses!
I went looking for the lyrics online and couldn't find them. Anyone have them?

WOW!
Thanks Jon.
This is great and a great vehicle to carry the message today! I have been feeling a bit frustrated that there seemed to be no protest songs like there used to be in the sixties about civil rights and the Vietnam war. I have been looking for somebody to start a new movement in this time that needs it but I see I have to update myself to the current fashion of Hip-Hop! I hope Kirk Nugent inspires a lot more people to make songs with such a meaningful message.
When I was a young poet, I was told by a 'professional' poetry critic that I had to choose between being a philosopher and a poet, that no one could be both. I have read many poems and heard many songs that give the lie to that statement. And Kirk Nugent does it wonderfully in this video. The closest many people come to understanding today's philosophies are by listening to the radio, perhaps a sad commentary on our times. Many otherwise shallow people can quote John Lennon's song, IMAGINE.
Thanx, John, for sharing this video. It reminds me of Grand Master Flash of Beat Street fame when he rapped:
"Newspaper burns in the sand, headlines say Man Destroys Man. Extra! Extra! Read the bad news on the war for peace everyone would lose. The rise and fall of the last great empire, sounds of the whole world caught on fire."
Lyrics definitely reveal that he is very familiar with the Law of One books...
Very Cool!
This is great! I too have been a bit frustrated about the lack of "counter culture" music, like in the 'ol days :-) But this is the next stage... above and beyond.
I followed the links to YouTube to see his other songs. He has much more good stuff there. I specially like his "I don't write about depression" which is an autobiographical rendition, and shows one thing my son-in-law keeps saying "Children are our best teachers".
But it also reminds me of how many instances I've come across lately, where I see people from all walks of life expressing great depths of understanding and enlightenment. I am more and more confident that as things keep getting worse 'out there', just under the surface, unreported and unacknowledged, is a great multitude of beings who KNOW, and when the time comes we will rise and find our voice and light spreading all throughout the world.
Thanks again Jon.
Namaste.
Thanks for sharing that video, Jon. It lead me to his inteview:

Hi Waakzaam,
A line in your comment has me thinking....I looked at it one way....and then saw another....just pondering something and thought I would share it....
"But it also reminds me of how many instances I've come across lately, where I see people from all walks of life expressing great depths of understanding and enlightenment."
I find that the more I grow and understand the more I to recognize these instances around me...here is the thing though...I think they and more were always there!....I don't think it is "them", the world, changing, I think it is me.......I see things today that would not have registered before because I didn't understand what they were....didn't APPRECIATE them and I wasn't looking for them....it's similar to if you buy a new car or a friend does, you might all of a sudden start seeing that type of car every where you go and you could swear that they weren't there before....but they were....
The world we perceive is of our own creation....we see what we want to see and we focus on particular things...as we change these and open to new things....the world around us appears to change.....this world must look very different to an enlightened person..I wonder where it is I am actually living!.....Lol....the big question for me is...what does the world look like without my needs and fears, without my prejudices and beliefs, without my own projections?....what a laugh it will be when I finally can see and appreciate this place where I am....not that all this aint a lot of fun anyway but...yeah.....
I think it is really cool that your changing your reality...awesome transforming dude!
