Isn't the real question, not can humans adapt, but can the earth/nature adapt?  We live in an ecosystem, not a vacuum.

lightwins's picture

Nature will adapt. There appears to be a mass extinction of plants and animals taking place. Those that can will survive within the parameters of the "new" ecosystem which will eventually stabilize out of the temporary instability precipitated by global warming. If things continue along the trajectory we are following, few humans will remain. Interesting times!

The Earth-Gaia is fine.  When we talk about saving the Earth it is always from a Human Centered Perspective.  We are not concerned about the Planet.  We are concerned about saving the status quo and the flora and fauna that support us.

The Earth is perfectly capable of remaking her skin into something new.  If this comes to pass I can assure you we will not be here in current human form.

I find it interesting that so many so called Environmentalist and Ecologists will be quick to argue as to "the real cause"of the ecological stresses we are seeing all around us...

Talk is cheap and it sure uses up a lot of oxygen.

I completely agree with everything that Elizabeth and Bob said in posts above.  Gaia is fine, regardless of whether she could support life in our current form in the near or far future.  She has seen worse from just the stuff she burps up at times, and she has spent far more time in ice ages than in warmer temps like those we have been experiencing.

And if we are getting a global warming story (that actually began in the 70's) from the MSM, than we can be sure we are being herded by the PTB for their intended purpose.  We would do well to just turn off and tune out from all forms of MSM.  I still watch a little just to see what they are shovelin'...  NASA knows the other planets are experiencing warmer temps and higher energy charging at present.  You have to wonder why (if the MSM and PTB were truly attempting to keep us accurately informed) we don't hear more about what NASA knows on the MSM.  After all, NASA benefits from our tax dollars don't they???

did you know there is a trading desk for carbon credits?

that says plenty about motive....  at least one motive...

I think it is down right obvious what's really going on....

... the science that purportedly says that every planet in the solar system is warming up.  Our human output of CO2 must help the warming here, but the global warming eco movment studiously ignores the warming of the other planets.  Is it because the all-planets argument is bogus?  Or is it because it is real?  In either case, I suspect that the movement is being guided by NWO opinion engineers; after all, any and all disasters and crises, real and bogus, are used to herd us under a central global government.

So, yes, we need to clean up our act environmentally.  But I'm not inclined to swallow the whole official story and take the fear bait.  It smells like there's a whole lot more to the real story.

Yes, we all want to get rid of fossil fuels, especially when there are perfectly good alternative energy ideas being squashed by the ptb all the time. However, I just don't buy the global warming story at all. I think it's a big scam.

This article starts with a lie so I'm not sure I can read the rest. Global warming denied by the power elite? Who is Bill Gates, a peon? He's using global warming fear mongering to further his depopulation agenda. The PTB own the mainstream media, global warming wouldn't be making headlines without their ok. It's the alternative media that is denying global warming.

As a matter of fact, I've been reading lots of articles in the alternative media (like www.sott.net) lately that we are due for another ice age and if anything frightens me, it is that. But overall I agree that mother earth will be ok although we are threatening her health a bit with all the nuclear weapons tests, nuke power plant accidents and GMO foods.

I also agree that the rest of the environmental disasters are a greater danger to human health than they are to the earth. Besides possibly warming the planet, CO2 makes plants grow faster - why worry about that when we have rat poison added to our water, estrogen mimicking hormones in all our plastics, and those icky florescent light bulbs that are "saving us" from CO2 and are full of mercury. I hate to think about all the households with children in them where these bulbs are broken and not cleaned up with proper ventilation, etc., not to mention the bulbs improperly disposed of, polluting our water with mercury.

Sorry, but hypocracy gets me angry. It's another case of "oh, but we have to do this for the good of all" when it's really about a very self serving de-population plan by the ptb.

Another point. There's the global dimming phenomena, possibly partially due to chemtrails. I'd like to know how we are going to have global warming in a world that's receiving significantly less sunlight.

Once again, arguing over who is right and who is wrong is the approach that maintains the status quo.

In order for us to ascend we much integrate our darkness and our lightness--- we are failing in this as a species.  The Earth has no other way to transmute our miscreations other than to heat up and slough off.  This comes in the form of volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, storms and etc.

So you see, when you blast "global warming" as hogwash the whole picture is missed.  Those that raised the first alarm are indeed partially correct.  We must treat the Earth better by following the RRRC closed loop system and by reducing carbon dependency.  This is a TRUTH.

Outrage over how those people over there (pointing and gestulating rudely and with all your fury) is moving further away from integration...

Talk is cheap and it uses a lot of oxygen.

We can talk about how those people over there are the enemy... and yet are we exonerated by our own actions?  Are we independent of their systems?  Are we independent in our hearts and minds and interdependent with the Earth and Cosmos?  How does one create independence through rejection?  Is rejection a word within the concept of Unity Consciousness? How about within in the concept of Interdependence?  When you are involved in rejecting something do you feel like you are independent and centered and full of Grace and Love and Light?  Are you able to nurture yourself and others?

Does rejection serve you and those you care about?  Have you changed or transformed anything in your reality through rejection?  Rejections friends are malice, hatred, anger, fury, and rage.

When I was a scout leader two decades ago, I used to play a game that helped children become more aware of the world around them and our role in it.

Each child got a picture of a plant/animal etc. and I would start by asking each child to think of what their plant/animal needed to live (Bear needs bugs, bugs need trees, bees for honey, etc.) and a ball of yarn would go into play. The 'bear' would toss the yarn to 'bug' or 'tree' and then they would pick what was needed next and a 'web of life' would begin to show the interdependence of the creatures on our planet.

Now no where in the circle was anyone designated as 'Man'.  Sooner or later it would occur to one of the children and discussion could ensue that the only creature really not necessary to the existence of Mother Earth/Nature is mankind which in turn leads into how we can help the planet or hurt the planet.

We've been hurting her for along time. Loving her is in order. Respecting her is long overdue.

Whenever I can make a better choice for the planet, I try. That's what she's asking.

The entire is it/isn't it real is really a non issue to me. We know we've been abusers and who the abusers continue to be. I choose to make better choices each day and to show gratitude to Gaia the Mother by planting organically, letting weeds grow instead of killing everything with roundup (dandelion greens make a lovely salad and tonic), my car is parked most days all day. I try.

But hey, while we're talking about all these weather phenomenon, how much does HAARP have to do with it? Because imo, that's one project that needs squashed and RIGHT NOW!

Knightspirit's picture

I agree that the environment is changing - but there is a difference between "rejection" and "discernment" in this case. Earth had much higher CO2 levels 100,000 years ago than today - before fossil fuel - so it is a little hard to imagine that we are having that much effect - OR that we could reverse it that easily. So my discernment meter goes off in regards to global warming and it being caused by man.

I believe it is a non issue as well - as we have bigger issues afoot and I believe the PTB are using the climate change as a distraction - much as Wendy suggests. We could spend a lot of time and energy fighting the PTB about pipelines and ports - when in the end none of that is going to change anything. We all know that the technology for free clean energy is being held back - and is the real solution to the environmental degradation caused by the fossil fuels.

So it looks to me when I read these MSM articles that they are asking us to "fight" for something that isn't really the real issue. I have also heard that if ALL fossil fuels were banned today - right now - that it would be over 100 years before any cooling occurred (this of course assuming that it is being caused by said fuels) and so in that sense too it's a non issue really.

I also suspect we are seeing an early triggering of the next ice age (I also highly suspect that those orchestrating the global warming story know this).  the core samples from all over the globe show us without question that the Earth has spent around 80-90% in an ice age and 10-20% in what we have been enjoying presently...

the global warming indoctrination and propaganda does not address this.  there is obviously an agenda being executed...  what's really neat is that we have our eyes open.  how liberating to just know we have our eyes open, blinders off, prepared to detect and discern what is real and what is total BS...

this is such a big and essential part of how we will ultimately fade and transcend the powers that presume they be... NOT!, LOL

Hi Fairy-

Good points about trying to include all in the community but I feel there is some bad behavior that must be shunned because it threatens the very survival of the community. My intention was to reject behavior, not people - sorry it didn't come across that way.

You made the excellent point that many environmentalists are really more concerned about human welfare than the fate of the planet. I can tolerate self serving behavior if those engaging in it are willing to admit they act in self interest, as long as it doesn't harm others. When it is being masked or sold as serving others and it is actually harming others? What's the point of being on planet earth if not to defend the truth? These people are using innocents to their advantage, someone must warn them. This was my intention - to warn the innocents, not to berate the ptb.

Hoping you understand, I think we are coming from different sides of the brain and hoping we can find a way to communicate effectively..

Wendy
