Following the lyrics is a YouTube of a recording of crickets with the sound slowed down in a ratio roughly equivalent to the length of a cricket's life span relative to the length of a human life span. Another example of Allah's natural choir a la All God's Critters Got A Place In The Choir by Bill Staines
All God's Critters Got A Place In The Choir
By Bill Staines
All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
 Or anything they got.
Listen to the bass, it's the one on the bottom
Where the bullfrog croaks and the hippopotamus
Moans and groans with a big to-do
The old cow just goes MOOOOO
The dog and the cat pick up the middle
While the honey bee hums and the cricket fiddles
The donkey brays and the pony neighs
 And the old coyote howls
All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
 Or anything they got.
Listen to the top where the little birds sing
On the melody with the high note ringing
The hoot owl hollars over everything
 And the jaybird disagrees
Singin' in the night-time, singin' in the day
Little duck quacks, and he's on his way
The possum ain't got much to say
And the porcupine talks to himself
All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands, or paws
 Or anything they got.
It's a simple song of livin' sung everywhere
By the ox and the fox and the grizzly bear
Grumpy alligator and the hawks above
Sly raccoon and the turtle dove.
All God's critters got a place in the choir
Some sing low, some sing higher
Some sing out loud on the telephone wire
And some just clap their hands,
Enjoy:

Lovely. Why aren't we able to hear these harmonics out in nature?
on a cd titled "Robbie Robertson and the Red Road Ensemble",a soundtrack produced for a documentary. I believe it was called "Music for the Native Americans"..jim Wilson has produced many great songs for Native American Performers. I interviewed Robbie Robertson years later when his "contact from the underworld of Redboy" cd came out, and asked him about this song..On the cd ,they added a track of a Native American woman, an opera singer, who sang with the crickets,,it was very beautiful..RR also whispered spoken word over part of the song...in our interview ,I brought up the subject of specific petroglyphs I had studied during a summer road trip, and he broke into a great discussion about Native Americans s "ancestors from above",,there is even a song about it on the second album I mentioned..I had photographed some glyphs that seemed to obviously be of extra terrestrials, and started doing sculptures of them from sage,(hard to explain), He insisted i do one for him..soon after,I interviewed Rita Coolidge during her "walela" days...that means hummingbird in her native togue, so I made her a few sage hummingbirds, and gave her the alien guy ,which she delivered to him..she was so ecstatic, she contacted me through my boss to say that she had hers hanging over her piano,,Ha ! Just a note,,the day she called me from her hotel in Santa fe for the interview,10 seconds didn t pass before a hummingbird popped up in my face, right outside my studio window, and hovered there for 2 to 3 minutes, then bounced around the big glass in front of me playfully,i assume, looking at himself.....Sorry to go off subject, just a little piece of magic that I have always wanted to share....Nice to hear the crickets again.....
