Thank you John. I have noticed lately, the pleading for our attention from "good" sources equally with the dark forces. They are both our future sending messages back to us. The Mystery is balance. All this new age information, no matter how truthfull or benevolent it sounds, still promotes duality. The answer lies in the middle. Fortunately the balance is shifting to bring equilibrium back. The dark and light will always exist side by side and it is up to us to decide which side we will live in. Equal expansion and contraction of the universe. We live in a black hole.
I had a little insight this A.M. regarding balance. Could it be that balance is simply letting go of fear? In our polarized world of duality - both sides are basically fear based. The light side fears they will be "left behind" if they don't keep their vibration "high," (or from a religious perspective - they will go to hell etc.) and the dark fears loss of control and power.
Living without fear of death or anything else seems to me to be the key to balance. It's outside either polarity. Any one else have any thoughts on this?
Your fear observation is very insightfull. Fear is the prison that the dark ones hold us in. Now, knowing that and actually overcoming all of your fears are two different things. How do we find and confront all the fears burried in our subconscious from so many lives? How do you know when you got the last one?
Loved that Jeff!!!
As for dealing with fear and wondering when one has dealt with and abandoned the last one, there's always DMT, shrooms, Ayahuasca, etc., LOL Wanna find out what scares the shit out of you, trip.
IF you can trip and not be fearful (my thoughts go immediately to Terence McKenna), you have most likely transcended fear. Funny thing about fear, it doesn't exist. It's just a sensation activated by willful determinations and personal conclusions immersed in illusion and imagination...
It is amazing how suddenly you can go from fear to bliss while tripping...
Wanna really clean out the proverbial pipes, take a guided trip...
...was always just for fun way back when. I did try Salvia Divinorum; in a tincture instead of smoking, with the intent of accessing the teacher. When I got to the point where I imagined myself ripping through a veil, I chickened out and opened my eyes. Must be some big fears behind that veil. Would like to try ayahuasca in a guided setting someday.
I have to agree Chris - trippin' is a great way to get over fear. It took me two ayahuasca journeys to get past the resistance my mind and body had to just going there. I threw up those first two - as a protection mechanism - but never did again after that (I did 10 total).
Another aspect of that is what I would call "spiritual experience." I have had these outside of ayahuasca - and what I got from them was a connection to "spirit" that completely erased any fears of death for instance. An out of body experience (astral journey) would perhaps provide that as well - or a close encounter with a potentially fatal situation.
Some people say there are only two emotions - love and fear. Anything that isn't love - anger, greed, hatefulness - these all stem from fear.
the absence of Love gives way to the illusion of fear, but then again, the absence of Love is itself an illusion, but a dynamic one...
when you mentioned tripping Chris, my first memories of it were the best..but, what you said about going from fear to bliss in an instant made a good point....I was so young when I started boiling mushroom tea, I was early teens, and had some pretty amazing experiences....I was lucky enough to be the observer most of the time,,but if I fell either way,the bounce back would take me to the other extreme. It lends good evidence to the statement about everything rising from one or the other...I feel now that I was lucky to have those experiences so young..Although I have sometimes wish I was oblivious,,I love having those experiences to go back to for reference ,,or just reminders of this amazing realm we are part of......
My initial early ones were the best too. My first on orange sunshine had me scared for the moment of initial kickoff, and then in an instant, laughing my ass off to tears and having a great rest of the day with friends, expending lots and lots of energy.
The rest of them were all good until I tried once in the Navy and couldn't shake that sense of religious militant duty they drum into your head in boot camp. made for a very tense 13 hours on the ship (on window pane that came on in 15 minutes instead of the usual 45). all the others felt like indescribable liberation of experience on so many simultaneous levels, but the one in the Navy on the ship, like an intense psychological prison I couldn't wait for to be over...
Guided tours are truly advised for best results...
on a navy ship,,that is scary !! I guess I have been lucky enough to not have any kind of "authority" hanging over me during my 'sessions", and any bursts of fear came from my own thoughts...Many years later I took "guided" shamanic trips,,no psychedelics that were quite memorable also..
Man,I can t imagine what tripping while in the military must of been like..
and exhausting trying to keep up appearances while processing all that info, LOL
