When did being 'single' become a negative? Why do so many people tolerate mismatches or abusive relationships to avoid being alone?
I enjoy being single. The freedom to answer to no one but myself. No one timing my return home or demanding where I've been. No one objecting to dishes in the sink or dust on the sill. The freedom to be who I am without compromise. Sure it can get lonely but, until my soul meets its mate, there's no hurry.
