Remote Viewing Experiment - Ability to predict the future?

Hi All-

There's been quite a buzz about this remote viewing experiment on line.

I've taken the time to look closely at some of the data from this website and I didn't find it convincing. However, considering that the conclusion of this study is that there will be a major earth change / disaster (the end of the world as we know it) to hit us before June of 2013, I figured I better post this and see what you all think.

OOOOHH I love this stuff...I'm about to watch this video (so this may be premature?) but....I've done a lot of remote viewing and have met several of the world's most gifted remote viewers including Joe McMoneagle and I am here to tell ya-Remote Viewing sucks wind for 'predicting the future' of mankind-big time!(if RV's what they are using)

All of the big RV people from the StarGate program who have tried doing this kind of "long range" stuff have fallen flat on their faces. There are any number of them who wrote "this is whats going to happen in 2000", or 2012  or over ranges of years and they were all wrong. There are always these predictions of the end of the world type stuff too. It's actually been very embarrassing and also it fuels pseudo-skeptics arguments that RV is quackery. RV works well on well-defined targets, not distant social movements of incredible complexity and probabilistic uncertainty.

Possibly....maybe... more useful are gifted psychics (generalists who usually don't use Remote Viewing protocols) because some sensitives feel or see future events like disasters-things that ring their bell or call attention to themselves by the intensity of their "disturbance in the force" or something. The most supremely gifted psychic ever, Edgar Cayce, was able to predict future happenings pretty well. Hell, in WWII he was repeatedly called to the White House for secret war consultations with the Pres! He was so gifted that he could see beyond just the disturbances-he could see the smooth patches too. That is very rare.

Courtney is a compelling speaker. I enjoyed the ideas about multiple timelines and how they reasoned the results may belong to other people than us...yikes! Can you imagine their being mutliple universes and that there are identical you's out there doing just slightly diffeent things than what you are doing now? Like one version of Brian wrote the same things here but spelled one word differently or breathed one more breath... I wrote recently about two psychic friends who have had similar visions/dreams (repeatedly too) of a huge thing crashing into the ocean and similar events are described here- Oh crap!  I hope it's a different parallel universe than ours!

Hi Brian-

Yes, I believe in RV too and it's good to hear that it doesn't work well for predicting the future when they are predicting such a dire one. I appreciate that info.  Some of these remote viewers must have been having an off day because even some of the remote viewing for 2008 was pretty off so if they couldn't do present day very well how could they do the future? I gotta wonder how Clif High was so easily impressed by the study - I wonder if he actually looked at the remote viewing sketches like I did or if he just took Courtney's word for it.

In particular, I looked at the remote view raw data for Washington D.C. as that was the closest to home for me. The remote viewers were doing the congressional building. There were only 2 viewers for this place. Only the second one comes close to the congressional building (it looks like she drew the chairs and got that it was an auditorium), the other rv'er was not even close. I didn't look at the rest of the data after that.

I've been doing searches for Joe McGoneagle to see what he makes of this study. So far I haven't found anything.

Courtney's claim he used only RV'rs from StarGate and "military-derived" RV'rs may mask the fact that RV like other psychic stuff is REALLY vulnerable to contamination. He goes on and on about encrypted emails of results and "locking away the results" etc etc but we've found that any number of things can grossly effect your results. Here's an example: IF Courtney really enlisted a whole bunch of the Stargate fellas (a herd of cats if ever there was one) he did so by enticing them with something like "We want to do something significant that may effect the future of mankind"...and obviously, they all began to try to imagine what? Instant contamination-they have preconceptions now! He would have had a hard time getting this many people to participate if he used the proper method which is complete 'blindness to the target'! It's boring! What if he said "OK I want to do this study but I can't say anything about it and you're going to have to do tons of work and for nothing"?

People I work with and many researchers have found that using groups to try to improve RV results rarely works. There are so many issues with personal intent, mind reading, accidental cross contamination thru subtle human behaviours. And then the same pesky gremlins that plague individual performance act equally on groups too. We do monthly experiments here and it's frustrating to see our hopes dashed when we thought our group viewing was starting to work. Then it reverted to about the same performance of an individual over time. UGH!!!! RV really teaches humility if you're honest about it. The pattern of people I know who are (using psi for) making money on the stock market is...they don't use RV. They use their own home-grown techniques of sensing like dreams, visions, using pendulums or cards. There is proven success with using Astrology in predicting the markets. I've participated in attempts to predict stocks, gold etc and we really had mixed results as a group. We're about to start a different style of prediction using some of the above listed-wish me luck.

The other thing is...the more I read about people predicting the "end of the woild" the more I realize people are super addicted to it. Throughout history, people have been predicting armegeddon over and over ad nauseum.

Thanks Brian,

That confirms my suspicion as well. With all the 2012, end of the world stuff that's going on - it's no wonder that this thought pattern affected the results. I doubt if he could find rv'ers that never heard of the Mayan prophecy - even if he was very careful about inviting them to participate in the study. That leaves Clif High's data as all we have, saying that the world will "end" (and a bunch of people who believe in planet x, and there's some other prophesy from channeling). Didn't Clif already predict that for this past March? And yet this stuff is still giving me bad dreams. Hmmmm....I'm hoping I'll just feel plain ol' stupid, come 2014 but by then I suppose there will be more predictions to worry about. I was able to just dismiss a lot of dire predictions before but I really think I will breath a sigh of relief when we get past 2013.

Pane Andov has some interesting things to say along these (time) lines...

and his own personal story alone is worth the listen...

Expected Cosmic Events in 2012 by Pane Andov - YouTube

and here is the first part in a supporting series called the messiah code that gives whole new meaning to the symbolic reference known as messiah...

The Messiah Code 2012 pt.1 - YouTube

Can you say, Galactic Superwave & initiation of Red Giant phase?

Sure, Ah knew ya could...

Religions personalize and humanize in mythological constructs, and in the process the original meaning is obscured, then lost, then forgotten it ever existed as origin for the religious myth that was scripted for convenient storytelling and/or disinformation...  I think its upsy wupsy time sleepyheads, LOL

One might also want to look into the research of Dr. Paul La Violette

Author and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson dismisses the popular internet doomsday theory that a "Planet X," aka Nibiru, will return to our solar system in 2012 and fatally disrupt the Earth's orbit -- a claim Tyson describes as a "marvelous work of fiction."

-----

Neil deGrasse Tyson, the bestselling author and director of the world-famous Hayden Planetarium, chronicles America's irrational love affair with Pluto, man's best celestial friend.

Neil deGrasse Tyson was born and raised in New York City where he was educated in the public schools clear through his graduation from the Bronx High School of Science. Tyson went on to earn his BA in Physics from Harvard and his PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia. Tyson's professional research interests are broad, but include star formation, exploding stars, dwarf galaxies, and the structure of our Milky Way. Tyson obtains his data from the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as from telescopes in California, New Mexico, Arizona, and in the Andes Mountains of Chile. In 2001, Tyson was appointed by President Bush to serve on a 12-member commission that studied the Future of the US Aerospace Industry. The final report was published in 2002 and contained recommendations (for Congress and for the major agencies of the government) that would promote a thriving future of transportation, space exploration, and national security. In 2004, Tyson was once again appointed by President Bush to serve on a 9-member commission on the Implementation of the United States Space Exploration Policy, dubbed the "Moon, Mars, and Beyond" commission. This group navigated a path by which the new space vision can become a successful part of the American agenda. And in 2006, the head of NASA appointed Tyson to serve on its prestigious Advisory Committee, which will help guide NASA through its perennial need to fit its ambitious vision into its restricted budget. In addition to dozens of professional publications, Dr. Tyson has written, and continues to write for the public.

Thanks for the added info. guys. I guess my best take on all this is that the PTB are certainly expecting some kind of natural disaster near the end of 2012 - beg. 2013 but only a few who have had personal exeriences claim to know how bad or survivable it might be.

I think if the PTB really thought it was going to be as bad as Pane Androv they wouldn't be going to the trouble of trying to kill us off using other methods (chem trails, GMO's bad medicine). Compared to the Pane Androv scenario, the RV experiment results sound very good - unless things continue to get worse after June of 2013. I do so want the younger generations to carry on - I believe there is quite a bit of unfinished learning / experiencing yet to do.
