I just wanted to post this, which I posted on Facebook.
Most of you here at GS may have seen this video already, and certainly fully understand but a lot of other people I feel don't have a clue.
TROM - 2.4 Work
We need broader ideas and understanding for wider spread well being. We can't keep doing the same things and not continue to limit well being. How are all the ways we believe and hold on to, for managing our personal and societal lives, working for us so far? True, things may be better than they've ever been and maybe there's no better place to live. This should only make plain to us that we have to keep recognizing, identifying, changing and trying ways to expand well being for all. Most of the problems we run into in doing this come from arguing about and trying to convince each other of the best way to implement systems, beliefs and just plain "ways of doing things that we do", that are faulty in themselves. ANY "WAY" (yours or mine - theirs or ours - right{in my eyes) or wrong{in your eyes}) you implement something that is faulty (knowingly or unknowingly) is going to still end up faulty.
The video is pretty cool.
We are smarter than this and long overdue on figuring this out once and for all. We do so many amazing things when we need or have to. It's time to start doing things because we SMARTLY should and can. I'm not talking about voting for or against gun control or abortion or the next senator or anything, here. That is the "system that is faulty" crap we keep insanely repeating. It's not about me and/or you anymore. Its about us damn it. Until we figure out how to do that, we're still just meager, aimless primitives running around like the proverbial headless chicken.
Thanks Gary, I hadn't seen that.
Wendy
You are so welcome Wendy.
Thank you, Gary.

The whole documentry is like 13 some odd hours. TROM The Reality Of Me
Every part rocks and it's really broken down into sections making it convenient to view over a period of time.
