The Spiritual Law of ONE

 The Spiritual Law of ONE

The Law of One is about accepting everyone and everything as they are, without judgment.  This includes the Self.

On Earth we experience dark and light.  This is the duality which comes from the free-will which we experience on Earth.  Beyond the fifth dimension there is only Light. Wherever we are, all is perfect.  Duality is merely a learning experience to expand our Light.

When we live the Law of One we create bridges by looking for the commonality in each other. Just as you were invited to be here for this learning on Earth, so are animals, insects, trees and plants.  All are learning and evolving.  You are entitled to your ‘space’ just as an animal is entitled to his territory.

(If your kitchen is overrun with ants, first talk to the Higher Self or the oversoul of the ants, and remind them that this is your territory.  You ask them to move to a log in the garden or some safe place outside.  If they ignore two warnings, tell them that you will have to return them to the Light if they do not honour your space.  If they are outside your home, then you do not have the right to kill them.)

Honour trees and plants by telling them with a thought that you are about to prune them.  Act with harmlessness  -  always.

When you understand the Law of One, you accept your own divinity.  You start listening to your intuition and become a co-creator in your own life.

My guides have brought my attention to the fact that I have been holding some judgements of my friends here at the Gathering.

I ask your forgiveness, and I realease all judgements, knowing that I was only judging my self anyway

Love and peace to all ...................

When we say, so and so is the way he is because of such and such (in an attempt to accept them), are we making a judgment?

When we make excuses for someone's behavior, are we making a judgment or accepting them?

When a guru gives a lesson to her student, is she making the judgment that a lesson is needed?

Is it realistic or possible for earth humans not to judge?

Is judgement necessarily a negative element we should want to be rid of, or is it necessary?  If I misjudge the distance I can jump across a crevass, I may plunge to my death.  Maybe some practice judging distances would've saved my life.

Is the state of being without judging an ideal or just a nice-sounding idea?

These are just thoughts that popped into my head.  Please don't "mis-judge" Laughing my words.  I think your post is profoundly thought-provoking, I.J.

Eyejay's picture

Ha Noa, I know where you're coming from. Judging distance however is a completely different situation and I feel we use the word Judging in error here, we are rather assessing the situation, both from our abilities and from distance required, plus also depth of the crevass, which is hugely relevant. We could easily jump across a sandpit, yet may hesitate to jump over a well.

My thoughts on your other questions.

1. Acceptance has no judgement, you either accept "so and so" just for who they are, or otherwise yes there is judgement

2. Making an excuse on someone elses behalf is surely making a judgement of them and balancing it against our own ideals ("Warts and all I" think is the phrase)

3. The Guru passes his knowledge to his students, and leaves them to learn the lesson from it.

4. I think the Dalai Lama would be an excellent example of a non judgmental human

Thanks for the questions Noa, and you are the first to put my name down as I J, which is where it came from .................. Ian James

I resently was schooled on the difference between judgement and discernment. Judgement is thinking those ants in my kitchen are bad ants. When I'm in judgement I'm blaming the ants for my problem and expecting the ants to change. Discernment is thinking I don't want to live with ants in my house so I will change my behavior (accept responsibility for the problem). I don't blame the ants, I simply change my behavior so that I don't have the problem with ants anymore.

This has been a very tough lesson for me to learn and I'm still working on it.

Please forgive me all for my judgements.

Thank you Eyejay for this lesson.

How will we all change our behaviors to live with, accept the banksters / psycopaths in our world? Even here I'm making a judgement by assuming they are a problem for others as they are for me. It always comes down to how will I modify my behavior to fix my problems. There is still an element of the desire to control other's behavior here.

What about with parents and children? This is a tough one. As parents it is our job to teach children the acceptable rules of our culture and the dangers in the world and yet honor their freedom as individuals. In this case, if we must judge-  it is the child's behavior and not the child.

Think of the parable of the scorpion who asks for a ride on the turtle's back to the other side. Don't expect a scorpion to act like anything but a scorpion. This is tough with people because it is so important to always give others the benefit of the doubt. But I think it is possible to trust others even when you aren't sure if you can. I always just ask myself what is the worse case scenario if this person betrays my trust? If it is something I can live without, then I will trust them. Otherwise, I don't put myself in the position of the turtle and simply tell them no.

This whole post is only so long because I am still learning. Please forgive me.....

Another thought:

I don't think bridges necessarily are only built by commonality. I happen to be somewhat of a slob (oops - self judgement? or acceptance that it is ok that I am a slob?) I really appreciate my husband and others who emphasize the importance of cleaning. It's a matter of loving and appreciating the differences and realizing that we all have our roles to play. I always appreciate that any community is strengthened by people's differences. It makes the community more adaptable, resiliant to change and it allows me to do what I like best and let others do what they like best.

Thanks Wendy for your not so long post J

We are all learning this any many other lessons; I find it very helpful and therapeutic to share them here.

To say I am better than you, is judgemental. To say I am further along the path than you, is also a judgement and puts me at a distance, therefore unable to share. Modifying our behaviour to live our lives Heart centred, rather than Egocentric helps a lot with this learning.

My belief is we do not so much teach our children, we show them. Children learn far more from our actions than they do our words. Usually when they arrive at the early teens, they are quick to point out this difference to us.

We live in a society that is inherently Judgemental, from our first exam we are judge and ranked with our peers. Our court system, quite often becomes judgemental, even though our peers in the jury are meant to be impartial and discern the truth from information given, they often pass JUDGEMENT.( Just watch “The Mississippi Three”, to see an example of community Judgement.) The jury is presided over by a JUDGE. It is understandable that we get caught up in the same process with day to day living.

I always TRY, (I emphasis try) when talking of others to keep the discussion non-judgemental. Way easier said than done I might add.

Love your parting words Wendy. We do indeed all have our roles to play

Wendy's picture

Yes, Eyejay,

Another important reminder- our children do learn by example much better than being told. I know this and yet I forget...Right now I'm dealing with a somewhat obnoxious kitten in the household. (talk about judgement!) He is absolutely adorable and absolutely nerve wracking. How do I modify my behavior so that my furniture doesn't get ruined and yet honor his kittenhood? Duh - I just realized - what I'm worried about is a removable cushion. And here I've been yelling at the poor thing and yes, giving it a slap here and there.

Pat Cat, please forgive me..

I did hear water pistols work well as a detterent, although they must not see the pistol apparently.

This conversation inspired me to blog again, doing a series this time.

Hi Eric:

Check your link.  Either it's faulty or I'm stuck in a Twilight Zone loop.

Nevermind, I gotcha covered...  http://www.spiritofra.com/

Hey guys what did you think of the website spirit of ra .

Eyejay's picture

Hi Eric, I think there are a few here that have read the Ra channelings.

Personally channeled messages just do not resonate with me, not sure why. Maybe I have issues with trust of source? Thanks for recommending though.

esrw02's picture

  Hey , IJ

I understand , sometimes it is okay just to read and comprehend, it is the nature of some of material that hit home with me.  I really do not try to justify whether it is true or not,  it is the message. In fact the intro to the transformational lessons says almost the same exact things I read on the RA website .  What are the chances huh; I have a question for you, have you read this book  BRINGERS OF THE DAWN Teachings from the Pleiadians ?     I recommend it , I have a ecopy of it in PDF format very interesting to say the least.   I really like what you said about the ants and the oversoul I have been thinking and explaining this for years now . My oversoul has saved me several times and I am more in tune now than I ever have been. I appreciate your input thank you for sharing with us.

I Love you all , Eric

Yes, Eric.  This material has been discussed on the G-spot for years.  You can type your keywords into the search bar above and find the posts --  like this one:  http://www.gatheringspot.net/topic/personalspiritual-growth/law-one-intr...

Personally, I haven't got much out of this material.  Possibly because it's not easy for me to understand or maybe I'm not ready to receive it.  That said, I leave the door open for revisiting the Ra material at a later date.

I love the Law of One message and Carla's recent stuff even though Ra's language can be cumbersome and less than simple and clear. IMO the primary take away: This, which is All-That-Is, is One. "Sparks" of itself individuate and explore/experience possiblilities and, gradually, work their way back to reunion with, in, of, as and through the One. At this time, our human species of consciousness exists in a 3rd density enviroment that is "scheduled" to transition to 4th right about now. 3rd is the density of choice between service-to-self and service-to-others. When channeled, LoW, indicated that just before the transition the STS folks would establish a brief period of global fascism - which, I believe, we are witnessing at this time. For those of us inclined toward STO the STS crowd provides ample catalyst in the form of bad behavior which we witness and then, decide to do otherwise.

For me, the challenge has been to open my heart to them. Seeing them within the LoO context has made this easier.

The way I see our dilemma, we've all been raised by people in cultures who reified everything and trained us to live in an illusion of duality and to do the same - self & other, good & bad, black & white, etc. Our freedom lies in recognizing the actual, non-dual nature of our mind and then, returning to this recognition, allowing all the labels, descriptions and stories to flow through and self-release while we emphasize the experience of the ever-present open intelligence or awareness in, of and though which the "data" arises, appears and passes away; gradually, we get used to being our awarenss of being.

What do you think?

Bob07's picture

John, you asked, "What do you think?"  But why invite thinking when you said it clearly enough in the sentence before: "...being our awareness of being."  No thinking involved there.  Just being witness, being aware of being aware.  So obvious and profound, yet almost universally ignored.  ...But then we diminish it by thinking about it.  Can get sidetracked there.

...But, to be fair, we have to communicate, so I'm not really criticizing.  Just pointing out the difference between being aware of being (the simplest, most basic human experience) and thinking about it and explaining it.  Nonetheless, your explanation is awesome.

  Hey All,

Duality is in us, our brain is dual, there is membrane that seperates left hemisphere from right . The DNA masters knew what they were doing, or should I say you wrote the program and just may not know it yet .

I love you all , Eric

Have you seen the show down in Atlanta back in the 70s with Carla and Don? It is awesome they talk about some interesting things.  Let Me know !

Do you have a link?

Although we do have two hemispheres in the brain, both are intricately connected by the corpus callosum. BTW women have 10x the number of cells in this bridge between hemispheres that men do. Typically, this means that a woman can be cooking dinner, watching the kids, talking on the phone with a friend and thinking about a meeting at work tomorrow. For me, if I am doing something technical and trying to have a conversation, either the conversation will drop out for a while or I may make a mistake in my technical endeavor.

"we" also couldn't exist without that duality or illusion therof.  for me judgment relates to control or trying to presume or assume what someone else should be doing.  I realize we all have different concepts and tools we are working with, so really I can only judge my own behavior relating to someone/something else or in relations to my own patterns and programming.  it's why schools and sporting events still harbor great untruths.  competition is only truly viable when used regarding oneself.  we can look at one another as examples of what we may or may not want to be doing, but ultimately it is ourselves that we hold accountable.  and I can love and accept people, but that doesn't necessarily mean I like them or what they are doing!  those are two completely (not exclusively) different things.

and then there's the "final judgment" or "psychostasia" to consider.  like, were you paying attention to that "still, small voice" (your "conscience" or conscious) throughout life, or going against your "better judgment"?  and usually it has what's best for all "in mind" and the whole bhodisattva thing starts when we are young (and old)!  when young because it is how things work and when old because it's the only thing that makes sense anymore.  see?  we remember...
