I am so sick of what is going on in this world right now and not being able to help. I consider myself an eternal optimist, but this is getting ridiculous. I used to think it was a small percentage of people that were harming this Earth.
I'm starting to believe that there are more people out there with bad intentions than I imagined. Maybe this is part of the awakening process? Maybe this all needs to happen in order for us to realize how screwed up we all are?
Either way, where are the light workers? Why can't we have any in the upper echelons of society? Why are we run by psychopaths?
Even with these crazies out there, I have to believe the majority of us are good people. What can we do to make a difference?
How can we sit by and watch this world go to hell in a handbasket and do nothing to help?
I'm tempted to leave and focus on myself, but what about those hurting?
If anyone has any tips or suggestion on how they are handling the current paradigm, I would appreciate it.
Hi Nick - I hear what you're saying and know myself how sometimes it seems there's so much greed, exploitation, corruption, pain and suffering going on in the world that anything 'good' is largely overshadowed. We need to remember that the world isn't broken, it's exactly what it needs to be. The interplay between light and shadow gives us the duality that we need to give us our challenges and the opportunity to learn our lessons. We can't put everything 'right' with the world, but we can do our best with the people and the circumstances which are right in front of us to make our contribution. We all make a difference, we all have our unique purpose in our Earth experience. If we can change our perception to accept that all is well with the world, then we'll be closer to experiencing our own inner peace irrespective of what madness is going on around us.
What if it's not about what's going on in the world? I certainly recommend being aware of all the manipulations and corruption and healing the part within our reach. But what if what really matters is the personal relationships in our lives. I love what the Hidden Hand material has to say about this:
"There is a simple method to check upon your progress. Despite what appears to being going on in the world around you, how loving and harmonious are your personal relationships? How many arguments do you find yourself engaging in? The quality of your relationships is an excellent mirror from which to gauge the quality of your output, or in other words, that which you are creating. Remember that the world is your mirror. It casts back at you the reflection of that which you have projected into it."
What a world, what a world! I'm melting...
They pretty much summed it up for me.
Simplify. Focus on what's around you. Put down some roots OR fly away...
Don't fall for Fox and CNN. Don't subscribe to the doom and gloom scenario. Undermines positive effectiveness.
LOVE, bro. LOVE
But... Given your patterns and tendencies of carnival rides and pendulums, you probably won't even respond to or acknowledge the DISCUSSION or CONVERSATION we're trying to engender here.
So be it.
We all have to "do our own time" and we're all responsible for our SELVES and choose to armor or drag chains or whatever. But, we DON'T have to choose life as suffering and we ARE NOT alone. NONE of us. That's your prerogative. And many are doing it in this TSI of "separation".
Blow apart or come together. To BE or not to be.
Cognitive dissonance is disruptive and it's best to respect others' beliefs, even if they're "faulty" or "holier than thou". Just leave them be. If they want to open up or expand, and you RAISE YOURSELF UP, they will seek you out.
Good journey. Peace be with you.
If you want to know more of what's opposing you or such, the Law of One and the Only Planet of Choice are excellent.
I'm on chapter 17 (Preventing Disaster) of OPoC, and it seems directly related to your conundrum.
No growth or change without challenge and pressure!
They claim if things were allowed to unfold in their own time, it would be CATastrophic. So our evolution and awakening is being accelerated for us to achieve a global CONSCIOUSNESS. That's the goal and that's what the opposition continually tries to prevent.
Yes, Chris! I especially like your comment: "No growth or change without challenge and pressure!"
Heard this morning on local radio. This goes out to ALL OF US!

Thanks for the help everyone. This really helps. I've been stuck in the US trying to save up and it's draining me. I'm buying into the us vs. them mentality. It sucks, but I have to stay here for another few months to get where I want to be to go out again.
This feedback really helps me when living in this society. It's really tough though. I can't talk to anyone deeply. It's OK though. I can do it. I will do it. Thanks again.
Where are you headed next? Have you visited or explored places of power in which to enhance energy work? Ancient (or not) sacred sites?
Just curious. I guess that's my interest.
Lung mei.
Work with the global grid.
Power up, bro!
Here's a little somethin, as well

Didn't watch this whole thing. Got the essence. Stuttery speaking...
But, he mentions (100 or 12 monkeys) only a certain number or percentage of US need to go through the transformation to bring the rest along. Thank goodness! Cause if we were ACTUALLY dependent on the majority, well...
Hell in a FLAMING handbasket for sure!

Ssshhh!
P.s. it's INTEGRATION.
Masculine/feminine, left/right, front/back, past/future, life/death...
Nothing MAJOR. Just balancing polarities is all.

I'm going to SE Asia next. I have been to many, but would like to see more. I am going to start in Vietnam and make my way to India. I am hoping I can find a monastery to study at for a few months along the way. I am only going to stay if one feels right though.
Thanks for the info.
I'd never heard of David Brooks until I watched this TED talk - such a lot of sense and truth in there - I found it unexpectedly quite moving. Another reminder about listening to our hearts, realising what's important in life (getting perspective) and taking some action - thanks Chris for putting the link up, and way to go, Nick, for taking some action!
You should hit up Tibet. Find the last Tartarians. Get some old stories that haven't been lost in time...
