Here are two news articles about the little known organization, ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council). They represent corporate interests and are no doubt responsible for some of the skewed laws we're seeing today. `Noa
Secretive Corporate-Legislative Group ALEC Holds Annual Meeting to Rewrite State Laws
Hundreds of state legislators from all 50 states have gathered in New Orleans for the annual meeting of the American Legislative Exchange Council, known as ALEC. Critics say the Washington-based organization plays a key role in helping corporations secretly draft model pro-business legislation that has been used by state lawmakers across the country. Unlike many other organizations, ALEC’s membership includes both state lawmakers and corporate executives who gather behind closed doors to discuss and vote on model legislation. In recent months, ALEC has come under increasing scrutiny for its role in drafting bills to attack workers’ rights, roll back environmental regulations, privatize education, deregulate major industries, and passing voter ID laws. Nonetheless, this year’s annual ALEC meeting boasts the largest attendance in five years, with nearly 2,000 guests in attendance. We go to New Orleans to speak with Lisa Graves, executive director of the Center for Media and Democracy. Last month, her organization released 800 model bills approved by companies and lawmakers at recent ALEC meetings.
New Exposé Tracks ALEC-Private Prison Industry Effort to Replace Unionized Workers with Prison Labor
Many of the toughest sentencing laws responsible for the explosion of the U.S. prison population were drafted by the American Legislative Exchange Council, which helps corporations write model legislation. Now a new exposé reveals ALEC has paved the way for states and corporations to replace unionized workers with prison labor. We speak with Mike Elk, contributing labor reporter at The Nation magazine. He says ALEC and private prison companies "put a mass amount of people in jail, and then they created a situation where they could exploit that." Elk notes that in 2005 more than 14 million pounds of beef infected with rat feces processed by inmates were not recalled, in order to avoid drawing attention to how many products are made by prison labor.

I may be being a tad bit naive but I am so tired of even thinking about wrestling with those who still wish to control this 3D paradigm. I am through with it. I know that 4D is already here, being experienced by many like David Wilcock and George Kavassillas, Barbara Marciniak, Angelika Whitecliff, and all the ones so many of us have gained understanding from, from their authentic experiences shared with us.
I just don't see the point of rescuing a 3D paradigm, much rather transcend it and join in with those already in 4D progress. it I will it, they will come, they're already here! it was never me waiting for them, but the other way around, the whole time it is and was this.
It's the reason we cannot be rescued, would defeat the whole purpose of Self rediscovery and authentic transformation/adventure...
ALEC and others can have it... There are no victims, only participants...
And willing ones at that...
Those looking to fix 3D are looking to stay in 3D.
We need to remember that, even as it is, there is nothing wrong with it, even the way it is, the way we wished it wasn't. this is why deterministic judgment is so not productive, not for one wishing to move on from perceived nonsense.
I for one am very glad that it looks like nonsense...
I am ready to move on to something more fulfilling...
I'm hearing a 4D tune, how about you?
I hope we go there soon, how about you?
What's to stop us?
Here we are, typing on our 3D computers, aren't we here for a reason? What is our purpose here, certainly not to just wait around for 4D? I am reminded of the phrase "love the one you're with". I don't feel like a victim, I'm thoroughly enjoying the challenges of my 3D world. Non-participation in a controlled world is one thing, I agree that is a beautiful solution, perhaps the best one, but it is a solution, an action that we are taking to better this messed up yet beautiful 3d world. Like I've said before, I am attracted to George K.'s message for a reason, certainly to learn something so perhaps I will gain a better perspective on this 4d, 5d stuff that seems like a cop-out fantasy to me now. I'll be back with notes after the event.
P.S. Thanks Noa, for the post - I had never heard of Alec before.
It is just a thought to consider, taken or left.
Also, it occurred to me that we are already in 4D. All our thinking is a collective venture and is causal, just as our actions are causal in 3D. The question is, is our heart and mind more attached to 3D or 4D. Some are still very much engaged in the 3D matrix/paradigm. This does not mean that it is the reality we all should be focusing on. It simply means it is the reality being more clung to. I am fading this nonsense, have been for some time. Most likely comes with age, but also comes with eyes being opened by new information gained over the past few years.
Sometimes there's no going back, once the red pill has been swallowed. There is no right or wrong in this infinite experience. Could I also being feeling the Heart's desire of mother Gaia who has been shifting to 4D for some time now? Who knows...
I share what I feel at any given moment...
I read a post and share what's in me at that moment...
Doesn't mean I know what's right for everyone else...
I sense an ongoing shift in progress, but this does not mean that those engaged must immediately disengage from their 3D ventures. If the law of one data is correct, this very accommodating construct we are in allows some to move to higher densities while those still very much attached to the 3D construct are moved without skipping a beat to another 3D realm where they pick up the ball and run without even knowing they have shifted to another 3D location.
What I sense now is that all of these worlds are happening simultaneously in ad infinitum... 3D is much ado about attachment. No wonder the Buddha addressed attachment and the associated suffering...
As for the popular and rational notion of the cop out fantasy, I have had that thought at times too, many times, but I am so sure now that something much bigger is going on than just my wild escapist imagination running away with me.
If there isn't, than my hat's off to the vast and amazing escapist world our minds can create (speaking of computers), but I highly suspect there is so much more going on than a 3rd density experience can convey in and of itself. It seems to me that it (3D) is a platform, a jump gate of sorts, where one at some point begins to get glimpses "through a glass darkly" of all the amazing experiences ahead, the trip back home, god's infinite expanse and method of gaining experience forever...
But the thought that most intrigues me is that it is all happening simultaneously, not linearly, and that the "next" experience is there for the taking since it is already in progress in perpetuity...
The placement of our attention is a very interesting subject. How can we know whether we're perpetuating the old movie on the one hand or deluding ourselves with airy-fairy fantacies on the other? How do we stay sufficiently grounded in the practical functionalities of our day-to-day lives while we aspire to and focus on our highest, clearest vision for ourselves and our world?
How do I see through to the clear and luminous essence of the people I am working with (and myself) while not losing track of the reality of their wounded psyche, disorganized nervous system and painful perspective on life -- the reality they were regarding, perceiving and projecting as "their life" when they walked into my office?
These are very interesting times where the apparent darkness and the apparent light are increasingly obvious to us all. It seems that each of us is on our own, uniquely individual, path of awakening and service and, for most of us, this has been going on since long before we had any inkling that it had a connection to the whole. In my experience, the timing for the transitions in the process are not solely up to us. It is as if we are both in and of the Great Goddess; She is a mighty river and, with the vast sweep of her powerful currents, She moves us where and when She will.
I believe that The Law of One is an accurate map of our realm and the transition we appear to be racing through at this time. I believe that we are moved into proximity and contact with one another for our mutual quickening and edification. I believe that we are moving into domains wherein we are, individually and together, activating here-to-fore quiescent strands of our DNA (see the recent post: Russian DNA Discoveries...) and begining to embody qualities of clarity, wisdom, compassion and power - both individually and together - that will transform our world; each, intuitively, assuming our natural role in the process.
I was assuming that what is right for me would be right for others. I apologize, of course we all have our different roles to play (or not play), thanks for your patient explanations.
I like your queiries John and sense that the answer you are suggesting is to use and listen to our intuition.
