The April 1st Democracy Now broadcast addresses some particularly poignant issues.
Representative Dennis Kucinich's assessment of the unconsitutional direction the US government is headed, is right on the money:
http://www.democracynow.org/2011/4/1/rep_kucinich_lack_of_congressional_approval
Democratic Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio joins us to discuss why he thinks President Obama may have committed an "impeachable offense" by committing U.S. military forces to enforce a no-fly zone over Libya without congressional approval. "This president has assumed power that no president, not even President Bush, has assumed,” Kucinich says. “I think that we need to focus on this, not as a matter of whether we like President Obama or not, not as a matter of whether we are Democrats or not, but whether or not we understand the basic constitutional principles of the separation of power."

Also of note is Obama's re-election strategy for 2012 with his appointment of Jim Messina as campaign manager:
Republicans and Democrats are already gearing up for the 2012 election, projected to be the most expensive in history. Obama is expected to formally kick off his re-election bid on April 14, and his campaign could raise as much as $1 billion. In a move criticized by progressives, Obama has appointed former White House deputy chief of staff Jim Messina as his campaign manager. Obama’s move has drawn scrutiny over Messina’s ties to corporate America, his push to drop the public option from healthcare reform, and his lack of support for gay rights. We speak with journalist and author Ari Berman about his new profile of Messina in The Nation. "Messina has a ‘take no prisoners’ style; the problem is, the people he’s often taking prisoner are Democratic activists and grassroots organizers,” Berman says.
Why is it that we only have a few U.S. congressmen who understand and support the U.S. constitution? I know the answer to my own question - Kucinich answered it "government by and for the corporations"
As I watch this I wondered why the U.S. military doesn't stand down - they have the legal authority and obligation to dis-obey illegal orders, but I only need to look in the mirror to know who to blame. Until I stop paying federal taxes, I only have myself to blame.
I have atleast taken the small step of reducing my work hours to 4 days per week, I was hoping to work more in the garden this summer. Now I don't know if that will be useful with rain and snow coming down that is 3,000 times the legal radiation limit.

First, the bad news, Wendy. Apparently the Illuminati have infiltrated "day jobs" in practically every sector including government, education, medicine, and the military. For the right price, many politicians can be influenced to turn a blind eye to what is right. How they either don't care about the consequences or don't see the harm in selling us out is beyond me. Maybe they've exchanged their integrity for seats in the fallout shelter. Hopeless, F^@&s!
The good news is that we create our own reality. The rain and snow can be purified with loving thought energy. Mararu Emoto's work with water crystals proves it. David Sereda tells stories of an imprisoned man thriving on putrid water that he blessed and a similar account where shipwrecked survivers lived 3 weeks drinking seawater which they visualized as fresh!
I've started to bless everything around me with love and gratitude. The river on which I live is very polluted. I've made it my mission to help heal it. I will keep you posted on my progress.
Remember, the expansive life force of creation is much more powerful than the darkness of destruction. Many people are collectively praying and visualizing a better world and our numbers continue to grow! I believe many off-planet entities are also helping to minimize chemtrails, the effects of HAARP, etc.
So, tend your garden and bask in the sunlight. Be greatful for everything - even that which brings hard lessons. "To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven." (The Byrds.)
Love, faith, courage, hope,

"what if there was a war and no one came"
I so hope we soon come to this choice spontaneously and collectively...
Right on, Noa and Chris! We can envision a better planet and help make it so, and maybe someday soon the majority will see the futility of war and simply refuse to participate. Wonderful concepts!
It just occurred to me that Obama had very little choice. You can be certain that behind the scenes the Joint Chiefs and the military industrialists were urging action. I heard in one report that we spent $100M the first day. The powers have got to love it! They are making money hand over fist every time a missile fires.
From another perspective, I am glad for the people of Libya that they may liberate themselves, but there must be a better way than firing wholesale destructive force from the air.
Chuck
Thanks for the encouragement Noa,
I try to think positively and envision a beautiful world. I seem to be a very down to earth person and probably a bit too left brained. No matter how many studies I read, I still have a hard time believing that this positive approach and prayer actually works to change our reality but I have definitely found that gratitude does help me endure what I consider to be bad conditions.
I like to keep Hobiton in mind - my idea of a close to perfect world.
