reason

We are here for a greater reason. When we choose to remember this, it is much easier to keep things in perspective. The more we remember the bigger picture, the easier it is to make choices in life which serve us and all around us. 

I think this is an interesting point. There can be a tendency to recognize the limits of reason and abandon it for superstition rather than include and transcend it by moving into the domain of intuitive wisdom. Actually, neither reason nor intuition can function well without the other.
