Poem for Dreams

My dreams, they wrap around me

I look for what they mean.

I occupy my mind with sorting

things that I have seen.

Some dreams I've held for many years

And brought them out to view at times.

Looking for the answer

that I saw behind my eyes.

The crystal pillars of the chapel,

The Native who asked if i like antiques.

"no i just like really old things."

"that's what makes our relationship so important."

Who was he?? What does that mean??

Scaling the mountain  with the multitude.

Bhudda placed me

on a platform

with aliens

to try on different shoes.

Dreams of fire. Dreams of pain.

Dreams of revolution.

Dreams of ''change''.

Dreams absurd.

That make me smile.

Dreams of lessons.

Where I run my trials.

When I wake,  my dreams drape around me.

I leave them on my pillar and go forth.

I visit them often and listen.

and keep them like pebbles in a bag.

I rub and thank each one.

lol....i leave them on my pillow.

Pillow is good. I did notice the word pillar, and I kind of liked it. It was arresting, and gave the impression of a masterful gesture. It occurred to me it was kind of a masculine word for such a feminine poem, but then I like the humor of the image of trying on shoes with aliens for Buddha, and the questing spirit of the whole thing enough to think that pillar was a pretty good fit. See, someone was paying attention...and I really like the poem, either way! Is it lyrics? Does it have notes?
