check out this channel if you get it, Russian TV, coverage from outside the US bubble. The debate you mentioned will be on this channel tonight and is a pretty good channel for better world coverage in general
and, although I don't believe we should revert to george Washington's ideals,as the roots of our problems were already in place then,,,there is something more to this....Lokking at it from "the bigger picture" point of view,,,,America does need to "go within" , to sort out many of these issues. Retreating within our own borders to deal with deep rooted problems is the same as you or I "going within" to regroup, sort things out, etc.. So, for that reason, I like it....It's what we do after that ,,,,,,upon re-emerging, that will help decide the world's future...
Chris, when I was in New Orleans this past summer, my brother bought a little digital antennae and slapped it on his tv, and was picking up a couple of foreign news stations that were pretty interesting, including Al Jazeera tv, ha! And I see a lot more of Putin here in china, obviously,,,,but it is limited on cctv, the English station.

WHAT IS S.W.A.P. VOTING?
If you never heard of S.W.A.P. Voting before that's because it's a brand new style of voting. It makes so much sense that I can't believe no one has ever thought of this before. There is nothing wrong with it, the system is perfect. What makes it unique is that it is based purely on math and it brings voters together to decide their own fate. It doesn't matter if you are Republican or Democrat either.
Once I tell you how S.W.A.P. Voting works, pledge to try it this year! You'll wonder why we haven't done this before. It truely is the most logical and diplomatic way to vote.
HOW DOES S.W.A.P. VOTING WORK?
S.W.A.P. means "Switch With Another Person". The concept is derived from the simple mathematical fact that most votes do not count because two opposite votes cancel each other out. Since so many people are voting for just two parties the majority of the votes cancel each other out and do not count. This results in wasted votes. An extremely high volume of "Wahout Votes" is a simple mathimaticall fact with our current traditional voting system.
However, if a Republican and Democrat both switch their vote and agree on a 3rd Party canidate, the votes will actually count and give a 3rd Party candidate 2 votes instead of giving 0 votes to the Republican and 0 votes to the Democrat from a washout.
Obviously the votes eventually stop cancelling each other out and a winner emerges, but it doesn't change the fact that the majority of the votes cancel each other out. Eighty to ninety percent of presidential votes are cancelled out on average and are mathematically wasted votes because two people couldn't agree on a candidate.
If I vote for a Republican and you vote for a Democrat our votes wash out and mathematically do not count. This is how most votes count. Now a person can try to justify that the votes still count, but in reality it's a wash and the votes are wasted.
Anyone who has played bean bag toss can understand this concept. If I throw a bag and it lands on the board, and you throw a bag and it lands on the board, neither team gets a point. It's a wash. The same concept works with voting, and the fact is that the majority of votes do not count because they cancel each other out.
TRADITIONAL VOTING
1 DEMOCRAT - 1 REPUBLICAN = NO COUNTED VOTES
(This process will repeat until the votes stop cancelling each other out.)
HOW S.W.A.P. VOTING IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT
S.W.A.P. Voting is an agreement between two people who understand that they are washing out each other's vote. Since both people want their vote to count, they get together and agree on a 3rd Party candidate that they can both vote for. This gives the 3rd Party candidate 2 votes, instead of having both the Republcan and Democrat vote washed out. A unique feature with this system of voting is the fact that it only swings the election towards a 3rd Party candidate and gives no advantage to the Democrat or Republican. In effect, you voted 3rd Party without helping either political party win the election. The system is perfect.
S.W.A.P. Voting works like a Vulture in many ways. Just like a Vulture, S.W.A.P. Voting takes something that is dead and doesn't let it go to waste. It takes a dead vote that was once washed out by another vote, and turns it into a vote that mathimatically counts. No vote goes to waste.
NEW S.W.A.P. VOTING SYSTEM:
2 OPPOSITES AGREEING ON 1 DIFFERENT CANDIDATE
1 DEMOCRAT + 1 REPUBLICAN = 2 COUNTED VOTES
(When 2 opposites agree, it gives more power to the voter's vote)
WHO IS S.W.AP. VOTING FOR?
S.W.A.P. Voting is not for everyone. If you truely believe in your Republican or Democrat Presidential candidate and want to keep 3rd Party candidates out of elections, than don't S.W.A.P. Vote. Even though most people will have their votes cancelled out, it does build a base of voters that mathematically keeps 3rd Party candidates out of the elections. So if you want everything to stay the same, vote as you normally would.
S.W.A.P. Voting is for people who would like their vote to mathimatically count, and would like to vote 3rd Party but are affraid of the 'other' candidate winning. S.W.A.P. Voting eliminates the old mentality of the "Lesser of Two Evil" once and for all. It also eliminates the mentality that a 3rd Party candidate can't win, because people need to understand that most of their votes don't count anyway from "washout votes". S.W.A.P. voting gives you your vote back. The "Lesser of Two Evils" mentality is killing our country, and S.W.A.P. Voting kills that mentality by stabbing it right in the heart.
What if two people can't agree on a 3rd Party candidate? If two people can't agree on a 3rd Party candidate, they would have the option of voting for two different 3rd Party candidates. Understand however that this will mathematically wash the two votes out and they will not count. However there is two benfits of this method. It still will not give any advantage to either the Democrats or Republicans, and it will help grow the base of 3rd Party voters. For people who are sick of the two-party monopoly and want to vote 3rd Party, this is still a great option because it gives no advantage to either the Democrats or Republicans and helps grow the 3rd Party voter base.
If you're sick of the two-party monopoly, don't want to follow the crowd and desire a leadership role in restoring Americanback to Constitutional ideology than S.W.A.P. Voting is exactly what you need this election to advance the cause of liberty and to restore the Constitution. Make your vote count!

The problem with swap voting is you would never get a democrat and a republican to agree on which 3rd party canadidate to pick. HOWEVER, I love this concept because it underscores the idea that a vote for a major party candidate is just as wasted as a vote for a third party candidate "that could never win". If and when we all vote for the person we genuinely want in office, not the person we think can realistically win we would get a third party candidate in office as clearly the policies the 2 major parties are promoting are not what the people want. Like yea, we all want war, hyperinflation and the degradation of our civil liberties.
