A friend of mine recommended this - I have not seen it - but recognize the "From the WIlderness" author.
Here's the link to the trailer etc.: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1503769/externalreviews
Here is a review from Roger Ebert: http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20091209/REVIE...
This is all based on "peak oil" of course - which may or may not be true. I have heard too many stories about that being UN-true to put too much relevance to it - but food for thought non the less. It certainly could be used for the purpose of destabilizing the global economy - that's for sure.
I was unable to find the trailer on the above link. If you're having the same trouble, you can watch it on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAyHIOg5aHk
If you're looking for the movie, Collapse, please be aware that there are different movies by the same name -- one about coal miners and also a horror flick. Look for the one with Michael Ruppert.
I came across Ruppert's work during my 9-11 research years ago. He wrote a very good book called "Crossing the Rubicon" (696 pages) that reveals the depth of his exhaustive research and his authenticity. He's for real and good at what he does...

The subject of Peak Oil may sound dry and boring until you realize how every piece of our modern lives hinges on oil. Interrupt the oil supply for just a week or two and then see what happens at your local grocery store!
I've been trying to watch "Collapse" online, but downloading has been excruciatingly slow. Then, today, I found this link that has the movie broken into 3 parts. Best of all, there are no ads or popups.

The YouTube comments on Michael Ruppert were mixed, but I personally find something appealing about this guy. Maybe it's his straightforward, no nonsense approach.
I think this might be a good one for wanttoknow.info, Fred.
