Numerology Queation

Does anyone know what, if anything the significance of 5:55 is?  I ask because my father passed away today at 5:55. I'm not good with numerology. Was just curious if anyone knows. Thanks.

Hi Todd,

I see repeating numbers all the time, it is generally seen as a sign the Angels are communicating with you.

I have used this site for interpretation for many years ANGEL NUMBERS

Todd,

First, may I say that my thoughts will be with you in the days and weeks ahead.  Witnessing those we love leave this world is usually not an easy thing.  I say 'usually not' because in my experience the way they leave and the way our relationship was in life has definite impact on how we interpret their transition. For example, when my father and sister had valiantly battled cancer, it was very apparent , that we needed to express to them that it was ok to go - that we would fight the fight with them, but when they were ready, we would be alright, that we'd take care of each other.  This seems to be what both of them needed to be released from their pain.  But on to your number question.

I think Ian's angel number site suggestion seems to speak pretty well to your question... there are a couple other posts here about numbers.  One titled number sequences from the Angels, says much the same in a more condensed fashion...

"555 - Buckle your seatbelts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being "positive" or "negative," since all change is but a natural part of life's flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continue seeing and feeling yourself being at peace."

It seems to fit well with beliefs about death, karma, reincarnation...and also seems a fitting and beautiful message from your father and the Universe to you.  I've taken the liberty of going a little deeper with the number thing-the date 1+2+1+2+0+1+6 (13=4)and 5:55 (15=6) and 4+6=10 so the date and time numerically become (1).  Ian's reference above regarding 1 is:

The Angel Number 1 tells of new beginnings and changes.  It denotes leadership and independence and tells of new starts and new actions that will take self-reliance and determination.  Leadership takes courage, strong willpower and decisiveness in all areas, so that the goal can be achieved.
When Angel Number 1 appear repeatedly it signifies that an energetic gateway has opened up for you, and this will rapidly manifest your thoughts into reality.  The message is to choose your thoughts wisely, ensuring that they match your true desires.  Do not put your energy into focusing on fears as you may manifest them into your life.

I hope there's been something here that helps Todd.  It's hard for me to say "I'm sorry for your loss"-because I don't believe we lose those we love.  We always carry them with us. In the case of my own  recent losses, I'm glad there is no more pain to live through here for my loved ones.  I never know when grief will still sneak in. Missing their earthly presence teaches me great appreciation for those I do have in my life. Explaining their passing to the children in the family has become a task I take quite seriously.  Imo, death and dying are something we handle so poorly in our culture.

I'm sorry that you will not have the earthly connection that you once did.  Be gentle with yourself and your family.  Grief effects us all in such different ways.  May your memories be filled with love and light, and may peace settle over you and rest deeply within you. Again, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.   kristyne

Just a nod and a hope that things are going well for you. It's been 5 years since the passing of my dad, and just under six months for my sister. Sometimes all's well and sometimes (often the most unexpected times) something triggers loads of sentiment.

Just taking a moment to let you know someone has thought of you.

Blessings on your way, Todd.    kristyne
