People from many countries will join this meditation; it will be going on all over the planet simultaneously. There's got to be a lot of power (of love) generated by a shared intention like this. The below was sent out by Chris Gruener, peace and truth activist from Boston:

Hello Friends,
Here’s a good game! Tired of endless activism? Well then how’s this for the current Action Step Request? - “Don’t just Do something Stand there!” (Sit there actually.)
1,000,000 of your and my friends may be showing up for a big get together tomorrow!
You are invited to the party!
See Below for details… [Not below: Click on this link to see the full story and to register, if you'd like to. Otherwise, you can just "show up". -- Bob]
Peace,

Thank you, Bob. If I'd seen this sooner, I would've passed it on to more people. The video lists these times for the meditation:.
Los Angeles 9am
New York 12pm
Europe 6pm (there is more than one time zone in Europe)
Jerusalem 7 pm
As well, you can find your time zone here: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html
In addition to praying and visualizing peace in the Middle East, I will also be sending love and healing to those who scheme against all that is not of divine love.
May we all come together as one within the light of our creator.
Thanks, Noa. I didn't get the notice until last night or I'd certainly have posted it earlier.
My daughter and I did the meditation together. We're both meditators anyhow, and it was especially powerful for both of us. Out of the corner of my eye I could see the tears dripping from her chin. We'll never be able to gauge the effect of actions like that... including the everyday efforts of all of us to be aware and kind, and to live what we believe in.
I meditated while logged into DoAsOne.com because I like the idea of being able to see the interactive map of other people meditating simultaneously across the globe. Unfortunately, when I began meditating there were only 60 other meditators on the site, which dropped to 40 in the half hour I was there. (Remember, DoAsOne is not affiliated with the Peace Meditation event posted here.)
The Youtube video above claimed that this event would be the largest meditation ever. I wonder if anyone has any stats on the actual number of participants.
In any case, with all the regular meditators in the world, it seems like there would be an effective way of bringing us together for mass meditations. One group that I sometimes meditate with is the Earth Rainbow Network, which has weekly global meditations each Sunday. Again, I don't know how many people actually participate.
I think more people than that were meditating. The Chopra Center says that nearly 100,000 people were involved -- I suspect that's how many registered. I didn't even realize that there was an online actual meditation to attend, so although we registered, we just meditated ourselves at the appointed time, and probably lots of other folks were doing the same. In any case, as I said, it felt very powerful.
