2. You need to
discover your LOCAL LONGITUDE HERE http://www.satsig.net/maps/lat-long-finder.htm
Where it says, "Centre the map around", input your
local area (City, State, Country etc...) and push GO.
Write down the
Longitude for your area, that you will find to the left under the map.
Longitudes will be either (-) or a (+). This is
important. Example: Sedona is
-111.773500.
3. Now take your LOCAL TIME VARIATION and LOCAL
LONGITUDE
and go to this really easy 13:30 LST

Input your
Longitude, your UTC offset (This is your time variation), the Month "3", and the
year "2008",
and push submit. You will get a chart of your LST
13:30 times for the entire month on March.

down under the "DAY LOCAL" column to "21", then read across to the right

"TIME LOCAL". This is your local 13:30 LST where

We don't want them to give up!

I think I got it. My time in central daylight savings time here in Iowa is 2:50 am and I will start at 2:40 for 32 minutes focusing on peace/balance/God here now and always stuff. Being a part of these group energy events is so powerful. I urge everyone to give themselves and this universe a gift and be here with this. Thank You!
...but it's darned confusing. What is the difference between the UTC listed and the local time? I am GMT -8 in southern CA, and I come up with 1:25 AM...that doesn't jibe with the Iowa time listed above. I'm off this Friday and looking forward to this, but I need fuller explanation.
BTW thanks for that lat-long locator page! It simplifies a problem for me regarding calculating astronomical alignments at my hiking spot.

I recall getting a result close to yours, sometime between 1-2am tomorrow for Eugene, OR. So if memory serves I think your orginal calculation is correct or very close. That it is both longitude, and time zone dependent, may explain the discrepancy you noticed.

Thanks...the longitude I'd calculated was a few minutes off, less than a degree, and it gave me a time of 0132. That's ABOUT right, but if I could get back into the site I could make it exact. We have a few people coming around 1230, and plan a group meditation. I've been outside neatening up my patio for the event...I'll be trying to double-check the time throughout the evening.
Outside, I have quite a few - dozens - of tropical plants. There are potted palms, a banana tree, ferns, lots of aloes and other succulents, geraniums, orchids, hanging baskets...it's been my little corner of heaven for the time I've spent here. the patio is enclosed by a low wooden wall topped with redwood lattice, and I stretched a piece of green shade cloth over half of it to keep it from being too bright. The other end has an open square with a tiny raised bed where I have more tall succulents, as well as herbs and vegetables started. For tonight, I set up a second water fountain in addition to the big one, and used a large oblong rock and some smaller rocks to set up a miniature version of one of our Standing Stones. Next to it is a small Chinese earthenware fish bowl, filled to the brim (no fish). I've set up some small votives here and there so we'll have fire, water, earth and air. It seems likely to be too overcast to see the full moon overhead. If too many people show up to squeeze onto my little patio (four is max), we'll relocate to the creek bank across the street, where it is peaceful and still, and on these misty nights, eerily silent except for crickets and the occasional small animal.
So it would be really nice to have the time right.

That sounds lovely... Ah, the joys of outdoor living in southern California... Heaven! I understand about your concern. I imagine if everyone is relaxed and happy (you could try giving each other gentle loving back massage while you wait) you will all feel the effect very strongly when the gate opens for you. Yeah, it's hard for me to fully explain the connection I feel with this place - not the cities but the land underneath and around them. Describing my patio I thought, HA! That's it in the background of my gorgeous snapshot...only Nafetah took that picture in January, when the plants were all huddled up close and inside. Now, the same shot would show foliage. Another couple weeks and the kalanchoes and geraniums will be blooming...I already have coral-orange amaryllis, black-eyed susans and purple lantana flowering just outside the wall and on the bank out back.
I wonder if what we'll feel as the wave passes. I am so tuned to waves...I am really excited about this! I hope it is not a lone event!
As I wound up the post above, a siren went by in the distance, and I could hear the coyotes by the creek singing along. Also, the moon is full so they usually gather for a songfest during the evening. My little schnaudle, Misty, growled and the curly hair on her spine twitched. I got up and walked outside. Glory be, it's a clear night! The moon is bright and round and creamy, making the shadows along the creek crisp and black. Orion is already heading toward the western hill, and the red eye of the bull and the white dog star are bright as can be. The grass on the bank is ankle-deep and soft - later in the year it will come to seed and leave foxtails and burrs in your socks and between the dog's toes. Now, it's a bright green carpet. The trees are starting to leaf out. The amygdala boggles. I may have to abandon the patio for the creek, depending on what my guests prefer.
I am deeply moved and excited by this opportunity to connect with you all, and with who-knows-how-many others around the world and in who-knows-how-many dimensions. This is historic.

Got an email back from the volunteer...I forgot to factor in DST, my time is 2:23AM...Yikes! I'm in, folks. I can't speak those who said they'd come over. Haven't heard from 'em since this afternoon...I did send a text (thoroughly modern fellow that I am) updating the time. I'm still torn betwixt the patio garden and the creek bank.
Oh, and DUH...I went to the website...completely missed the link the first time through...and got all my questions answered. This is so cool...

Had a remarkable experience with the wave this morning at 2:50. Shook out my peace blanket which covered the whole planet, joined hands with all of the participants, breathed peace/love/forgiveness/safety/wholeness/harmony/ kindness/simplicity/ sharing/flexibility/ oneness/ho'oponopono/and several other qualities into the blanket which automatically distributes them everywhere for everyone. Then I felt the planet in my chest and it was ill. I did reiki and breath charging and prayer on it and then released it to universal care. It was a very powerful 32 minutes.
I slept very deep after that, too. Looking forward to hearing what happened for the rest.
