A Very Sad & Devastating Happening - Beauty Lost

I am passing this along from Ursula.  We thought you might all enjoy this! You need Powerpoint to be able to watch - Stunning!

The attachment is about one of the world's most unique and deeply inspiring experiences for art and garden lovers of all ages that you may have seen before; it was created by Bruno Torfs at Marysville Victoria.

On Saturday February 7th, the fires in Victoria completely destroyed his unique forest creation destroying over 300 paintings and sculptures.

As you take a walk through the forest on the attachment, take a moment to reflect on the beauty gone and the many people who lost their homes, loved ones, livelihoods, the severely injured, the wildlife and the dedicated emergency services, civilians and those involved in caring for the traumatized and injured people and animals.

 sad loss...

We lose sight of the Buddha's intent adept enlightened liberated understanding if we adopt that view.  Never lost, simply transformed. Was destined to be gone from this temporal illusion some day anyway.  There is the memory of how it was prior to the fire.  There is the memory of how it looks now.  They, like all things in this 3rd density paradigm, become choices of perception.  The stuff it was made of simply rearranged, but no loss shall ever be suffered in reality, only in the entrenched perception as per our level of attachment.  I say these things knowing full well you already know this, but is always good to affirm Truth, in spite of apparent suffering and loss.  I feel so liberated by the fact that no harm shall ever come to that which is real.  Helps me put all else in perspective....

Love/Light, Chris

Dear Friends,

I had the joy of watching monks(at the university in Ashland)spend 3 days creating the most BEAUTIFUL colorful sand mandallas...then they destroy them.It is a great lesson in non-attachment. Thank you both for all you share here at the portal.

Love,Mary
