It is to increase our defense spending that America is siphoning money away from other programs. (In addition to overpadding the pockets of the obscenely rich.)
The absurdity of it all is mind boggling!
I hope I live to see the day when I can tell my grandchildren how stupid we used to be.
The situation is beyond fixing. In order for it to change, the entire system has to be taken apart. The industries that benefit from military spending (including the big banks) own the government, the whole system. They've woven their webs of influence and power throughout the fabric. We've got to throw it out and weave it again.
