It is just a beautiful day here in the Northeast!  The birds are singing and the grass is a deep shade of emerald green--- the lilacs are beginning to bud and the trees are flowering... Life is just amazing!

Hi FFG,

The birds have just been amazing this year! I assumed it was a change in me, that I was just now noticing what had always been but now I'm not sure. It seems like we have a whole new collection of species here and the choruses have been fantastic. I also have noticed that it's been a great spring for tulips - many that I have planted in years prior but never bloomed have bloomed this year.

I wonder, are others noticing a more varied and interesting variety of bird songs this year?

Wendy

What has changed is our Awareness has changed.  We simply have expanded our Awareness.  When expansion occurs everything that is of Love (beauty, grace, flow, joy, harmony, peace, mirth, laughter, compassion, kindness, understanding, tolerance etc.)  becomes more pronounced.  Thus the songs of the birds are heard above the traffic and the other sounds of humanity.  The green of the leaves seems like Emeralds... and you find yourself in a state of Love:  the beginnings of Bliss.

I have been noticing the songbirds greater variety too. My instinctive idea about this is that things are healthier because of the Recession/Depression: The "Repression"?!

After the massive layoffs happened and economic activity slowed down, I noticed a substantial decrease in air pollution where I live (the busy Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area that's been massively growing since the early 80's at least).  The constant pall of vehicle exhaust (and noise) was vastly reduced. When I step outside on a nice day now the air smells good and I'm not afraid to breathe it. That had become a daily problem but now it's like it was when I was a kid.  I believe:

-The air is clearer -depending on where you live of course...
-The sky is clearer too(FAR less air traffic now!) and I no longer see wide vapor trails crisscrossing the sky, which decreased sunlight heating of the ground and increased(trapped) pollution levels below them. My own pet theory about the huge numbers of "chemtrails" we were seeing was due to the planes' creating a layer of polluted air that caused their own vapor trails to not dissipate combined with a HUGE number of flights due to low fairs and a booming economy. Now we're too poor to travel much, including business people who are video-conferencing in great numbers.

-I think the weather here has resumed being more natural because of such clear skies.

-Sooooo...I believe this has effected wildlife behavior and migration of birds:-)
