I thought I'd share this with you as it struck me as funny and interesting...
I went to the movies with my son this weekend (Night at the Museum - thumb's up for a good kid's movie). We were sitting through the seemingly endless previews, when I realized that 3 of this summer's kids' movies were in some way about UFO's/ET's. Planet 51 is about an Earth astronaut landing on a far off planet that is fully inhabited by intelligent life. The other was The Transformers... helpers coming from other planets that can transform from cars to powerful robots. I can't recall the 3rd, but we'll see them all before Labor Day.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that thought. It seems that at least the folks in the movie making biz are toying with the ideas, and trying to soften the public opinion on what it means to be an ET.

There have been others too recently, like The Last Mimzy, MIB, and the first Transformers movie that introduced us to the "cube", something that was "allegedly" seen in the hands of several of the EBE's outside their crashed craft in the desert in July of 1947 just outside Roswell.
The books that Berry and I have made available in PDF file form at the Law of One Introduction forum,
The Only Planet of Choice, and especially, the related biographical work by Stuart Holroyd called Briefing for the Landing on Planet Earth,
would make it perfectly understandable why some that are "in the know", and in a position to do something "mass media" about it, would develop safe feeling ways to introduce the understanding that we are by no means alone in this very populated galaxy and universe. People like Gene Roddenberry.
Assuming for a moment that the channelings of the Council of Nine are authentic, can you imagine the prep work involved in conducting a mass landing of some kind and not have it blow up in your face via an uninformed, unprepared and very frightened world populous? What a ride!!!!! I Am remaining as balanced as I can while Being in a constant state of some level of excitement lately for the time we are in. My inner guide says "be here now"...

Hey guys! What about ET? Geez everyone was crying in the movie theatre when I say ET as a kid--- even my brother... teaching Compassion and Kindness for a creature that was not human but obviously ensouled---- and showing who the bad guys really are... all the while empowering the New Children--- the ones that the Council of 9 is speaking of in 1968 to present--- oh yeah--- I was born in 1972--- So the reference involves my generation of "new children" all grown up---

Thank you for sharing your thoughts here. I feel that they are here already among us. When ships sailed to the new world natives (some say) on land did not see the ships. They were not yet part of their reality so COULD NOT see them. We may be shown kind aliens to remove fear of them planted in us by the powers that be. Once fear is gone we may see them already here.....waiting to be part of our reality.I look forward to meeting new neighbors from wherever!

It just works for me. Instead of years of therapy to dissect and analyze my family's behavior, I just cut to the chase and I really liked the idea that my mother had an affair with an alien, so exotic...or exoterrestrial.
Anyway, its a story I like to tell to get a reaction out of people. I get real serious about it and often others faces drop, develop the pallor of the dead, run or faint. The ones that belt out a laugh that echoes to the infinite reaches of the universe are the ones I'm comfortable with so maybe I am sharing genes with aliens of other galaxies...? Hmmmmm...
Sorry if I scared anyone. It was just one of those twisted little spontaneous moments that created that post and was the fodder of many a Parent-Teachers meeting.

This is a failing of computer communication for me. No emotional clues,this is why I added smart-ass line. You never know what may come out of my mouth... in person this is accepted(usually) in the SPIRIT that it comes from. Like a court jester or Fool a gentle nudge to look at things in a new playful light.
