30 Seconds to Happiness

I just discovered Anthony Gucciardi.  So far, my impression of his is that his insights are unique and often helpful.   What do you think?

I had a hard time making it to the end of this. I waited for a 30 second process which is what I listened for 12 minutes to hear. (It isn't really there).  I don't disagree with his video, there's just alot of negativity thrown into his process.

It brings to mind for me a blog post of Wayne Dyer's that I find more helpful, less wordy and very easy to understand. I like that it doesn't take one through all the negative conversation the video does to make a point.

So with total acknowledgement of the source, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, who has now departed the planet for parts unknown, and with a prayer for continued blessings to he and his family for the grace he imparted while in embodiment here, this is Why the Inside Matters from his blog.

I was preparing to speak at an I Can Do It conference and I decided to bring an orange on stage with me as a prop for my lecture. I opened a conversation with a bright young fellow of about twelve who was sitting in the front row.

“If I were to squeeze this orange as hard as I could, what would come out?” I asked him.

He looked at me like I was a little crazy and said, “Juice, of course.”

“Do you think apple juice could come out of it?”

“No!” he laughed.

“What about grapefruit juice?”

“No!”

“What would come out of it?”

“Orange juice, of course.”

“Why? Why when you squeeze an orange does orange juice come out?”

He may have been getting a little exasperated with me at this point. “Well, it’s an orange and that’s what’s inside.”

I nodded. “Let’s assume that this orange isn’t an orange, but it’s you. And someone squeezes you, puts pressure on you, says something you don’t like, offends you. And out of you comes anger, hatred, bitterness, fear. Why? The answer, as our young friend has told us, is because that’s what’s inside.”

It’s one of the great lessons of life.  What comes out when life squeezes you?  When someone hurts or offends you? If anger, pain and fear come out of you, it’s because that’s what’s inside. It doesn’t matter who does the squeezing—your mother, your brother, your children, your boss, the government. If someone says something about you that you don’t like, what comes out of you is what’s inside. And what’s inside is up to you, it’s your choice.

When someone puts the pressure on you and out of you comes anything other than love, it’s because that’s what you’ve allowed to be inside. Once you take away all those negative things you don’t want in your life and replace them with love, you’ll find yourself living a highly functioning life.

I'm thinking, by the time you can master this one, your highly functioning life will have mastered the 'happy part' as well.  Namaste, kristyne

I like my lessons short and to the point!  Oh, and,,,when did Wayne die? The last time I saw him was in an interview after his remote healing for cancer...Did it come back? Such a nice mn to listen to,,,L,,T

Dr. Wayne Dyer made his transition August 29 or 30 Todd, his blog and USA today ran the info. NBC also.  There is so much junk on the internet sometimes that I checked a few sources to make sure it was real. Apparently he passed away in Maui on Saturday night. I do believe it was a consequence of leukemia, but I haven't read that anywhere officially.  Nonetheless, he was a pioneer in his field and shared a tremendous amount of grace with all of us.  Hope you are doing better than great! k

So remote healing is an actual thing? I played a game on House of Healing. One of the games is healing cyber people on the computer. According to the scoring feedback I got, I'm able to do this. However, I have no idea how I do this.  Except for concentration. Can anybody clue me in?

Various modalities work with remote healing, Reiki is one example. Medical intuitives also do both remote and hands on healing as do shaman of many traditions. The idea being we are all energetic beings, our energy can be affected in positive ways via intent and proximity isn't as important as the focused intent and abilities to serve as channels or conduits of that energy as one assists in the healing.   All healing comes from 'the Field/Force/Universe/Creator/God' (the name we call it less important than that the energy exists) and occurs in ways that the one seeking healing is ready for and accepting of at the time.

Short answer, big topic-anyone has the ability to help others heal when they are psychically/intuitively in tune and we all are to whatever degree we have worked/studied or karmically and otherwise developed our abilities.

For an interesting example of remote healing that's also a bit tech-y visit Andrew Kemp's Quantum K healing experience and take the 23 minutes to sit with and experience his work.

Also, welcome to the forum Carrie.  In Light and Peace.   kristyne

I didn't know that Wayne Dyer had passed.  For me, it feels like the end of an era.  We had a copy of his first book, "Your Erroneous Zones" in our house, which I read as a teenager.  I think his teachings got better as he aged.  I'll miss him.

And I agree with you, Kristyne, about the video I posted.  I've since watched other Gucciardi videos that are shorter and more to the point, like this one below.  It could be just me, but my first impression of him is that he's suprisingly enlightened for such a young guy and he usually doesn't mince words.  Anyway, he spends much of his energy telling people about GMOs, which is a good thing.

Just sharing what I like.

Like you, Noa, I am always glad to see someone younger that's taking an active stance on issues critical to our world.  I find more and more aware and awake youth, even the very young ones, paying so much more attention to the needs of the world-it's a great thing to see.  Change comes, even if it seems sometimes too slowly.  k

Hi Noa,

I liked the first video you posted. I thought his analogy of going to save or help a woman dying of a heath attack was perfect.  I think I might show this video to a friend of mine who has been struggling with depression for a long time. She actually did a lot better when she was taking care of her son's dog, even though she struggles dayly to be able to take care of herself. The dog gave her purpose.

Having a purpose in life is the antidote for depression.  We tend to forget that when we're in survival mode, existing paycheck to paycheck.   To break free of the "normal" paradigm (which isn't natural at all), we must first become conscious  -- conscious of what we think and of the subtle messages within our everyday activities.
