Sarah Silverman goes where other comics fear to tread, "innocently".  Biting wit.  Humor about things that are hard to even think about: 3rd-World starvation, the Holocaust.  Always skating on the edge -- often over the edge.  She gets away with outrageous stuff, and good for her.  If you haven't seen her film, Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic, you'll probably love it.  Here's the trailer:  http://www.imdb.com/video/screenplay/vi58786073/

This post got me youtubing Sarah S's work for an hour.  She's really funny - reminds me of Carlin.
