Since learning the truth about 9/11, I have felt that peace activists are using the wrong strategy to promote peace. Many promote the idea that wars happen because of differences in religion or race. I think the truth is that most wars happen because of the profit motive and have never been about differences of race or religion. But I do agree that these differences are played up by the propagandists and war promoters to get the people to join in. So peace activists are actually perpetuating the propaganda that war promoters use to get the people involved in wars in the first place.
I feel that it far more convincing and powerful to most people to know that the reasons given for war have been a pack of lies. The lies surrounding WWII are no different and it's time the allies looked at both the shameful behavior by our own troops and exaggerations of shameful behavior committed by the Nazis.
