for posting this interview. I like the way Chris compared dreams and illusions. There was a time when people could have had dreams but now we are living in an illusion. One might "have" dreams but one doesn't "have" illusions. Rather, one is in the illusion. The degradation of human rights and environmental degradation are occurring, according to Mr. Hedges, because in the current system, human beings and the planet are both seen as comodities to be used.
