A germ of an idea

I just had this idea that it might be fun for us to choose a time this weekend to all sit for 5 or 10 mins and breathe sacred love to everyone else here on the Gathering Spot.  We could do this at 9 or 10pm local time, with the intention that everyone would experience the sharing of our collective energies and love in the time when they are doing the meditation.  Actually, I suppose it could just be at the most convenient time in the day.

So what do you think?

Lots of love,

Kathy

I like the idea.  It might be more powerful if we all did it at the same time (not local time).  But that may not be practical.

I know that would be incredible, but I'm afraid our friends in Brazil or New Zealand, or Australia or UK would not be happy with our choice of time... that's why I went with the idea that time is just a man-made concept, therefore not important.  :)  (Is that using spiritual enlightenment to suit my needs?  LOL)

Lots of love,

Kathy

Ha Kathy,

I'll go with the time being irrelevant, suits me better maybe.

However depending on wether your eastern, pacific or ?? It could work for me, only that I would know my brothers and sisters here are thinking of me while I'm thinking of them.

I did this once in another forum many years ago, have also been in group meditations before, there is great power in it.

Have you ever been to The Event Temples, part of wingmakers, they have schedules for meditation there.

Let me know what time zone, and I'll check the world clock, see if I have to up in early hours :)

Hi, Ian.

My plan is to do this at both 8am and 10pm Eastern (New York timezone).  It would be cool if there were other folks out there doing this meditation at exactly the same time, but I know we're all kinda busy on the weekends, and it's difficult to get a time convenient for all.  I suggest that we all just be open to the energy from the team throughout the day, and observe what we feel.  :)

I think it is a wonderful idea....if I can help you with it in any way ...let me know....

Just join in.  We could all use the support and kindness of those that love us.  I just think it would be fun to give eachother that gift this weekend.

lots of love,

Hello Kathy,

Thank you, dear sister Kathy, for your "germ" of an idea.   Here's a little water to help it grow.....

I will join in this weekend - striving for the times you noted.  If I miss.... I will just join in when I can.

Breathing sacred love has always brought a sense of wellbeing and peace to me.

I look forward to breathing with you all ~

With Love,

 Mary

Let's plan on tomorrow... if you miss, just make it Sunday.  I kinda like the idea of making it every day, but that's just me.  LOL  It feels important to me right now to bring us together and remind eachother how much we're loved.

lots of love,

kathy

but it's all relevent from the perspective of timelessness and eternity so I am on my way now....to breathing sacred love to the team and out into the cosmos wherever we (and it) are needed.

I do this daily anyway......so open your hearts and minds and as once stated quite eloquently

by the 'Who'....

see me.....feel me...touch me.....heal me

and each other, and our world. Love is all there is.....hmmm believe that was the Beatles eh.

So since I'm clueless (about everything today) I'll send my energy for healing and joy to all here involved and by extension to all affected by the lot of us... just in my timeless domain mode right-------NOW! Wait time doesn't matter...NOW!

Love, Brian

I'd love to hear feedback on what this meditation was like for you, if you'd like to share.

I really enjoyed it, and it had me feeling ever so tender and loving with each and every one of you.  I go back to that meditation in times when I'm awake enough to remember (which admittedly is not as often as I wish it were!), just to feel that lovely feeling.

You're all in my heart.  Namaste.

Hi Kathy,

I think this was a great idea - for me it never really stopped. Ever since that weekend I've been thinking more about our group. All the posts about timelessness really helped to continue this in my mind.

Thanks so much,

Wendy

Hi Kathy,

This was only my third experience of joining in a group activity like this.  I am talking of experiences in a group meditation though – which I guess would be similar to breathing Sacred Love in a group, right?

My first experience was simply meditating with another person, and noticing the difference between what I felt meditating alone.    Then the second time was a group meditation that was conducted during the course of a Qi Gong class I took a while back.   I found meditating with others to simply feel “easier” and smoother somehow.  The more people… the easier it was.   I’m no expert on meditating with others, but I am quite familiar with how my personal sessions feel to me.

Breathing Sacred Love that weekend felt wonderful to me.  Most noticeably, the Saturday morning session felt the most powerful and splendid.  I felt an incredible sense of well-being and happiness at that time.... I loved and enjoyed every breath as I thought about everyone I could at the G-Spot and breathed scared love to them personally.    The 10 pm one didn't seem to be as strong a feeling, though.   I still did it on Sunday, too, at the times noted, just because it feels so good to do.  Sunday did not feel as strong as Saturday’s did.    I do this practice frequently - yet sporadically – and have since completing the course.  I wanted to say “Thanks” for doing this, for being the one to throw out a time and say – Let’s try this!   Sometimes that’s all that needed.

I would love to join in with others on a set time for more.  Anyone else interested in maybe a once or twice a month get-together to breathe Sacred Love?

With Love,

 Mary

I'd love that, Mary!  Out of courtesy for our brothers and sisters across the world, maybe we rotate timing to be most convenient for different continents.  I'd hate to ask Ian and Jez to always have to be up at 1am to meditate with us!

I think the time is right for this sort of bridging of the miles!

Lots of love,

Kathy
